BoYs!

Tyler loves our neighbors or maybe they love him. But they always manage to play everyday. I love it because they keep him entertained. They play some funny tricks on each other and at times they have there serious moments. The other day Tyler was having them practice their door approaches on him and he was giving them tips. ( like he knows right) But it was funny and I think they all were learning. Then yesterday they put a CTR magnet on Tyler's truck. Which was quite hilarious. They then acted like they didn't have anything to do with it.
We went for our evening walk tonight and we ran into the boys and so they rode along side of us for a while then Elder Aland got the great idea that Tyler should ride on his handle bars. It was pretty funny as you can see in the picture. Sorry it is a little blurry I took it on my cell phone. It is just proof that they never grow up. I am pretty sure that my friends and I would not think to ride on the handle bars now that we adults.
I just realized that a lot of my post have been about the missionaries. We do actually have a life outside of apartment... wait never mind they are our only friends. They have become family. They walk in and go through the cupboards and the frig. Now I know where all the food goes. And they are even getting so comfortable that they have started going into my bedroom. Kind of scary. I guess I better make sure my bras are put away. I am sure am grateful for the missionaries. And I am glad that they seem to love us as much as we love them. It will be a sad day when they get transfered which I know wont be for another 6 weeks. LOL!

Walking!

So since I have lived in California I have found $25 when I was walking. I have come to the conclusion that either Californians just like to throw their money on the ground or walking is finally paying off in a way. So instead of driving everywhere I am making a personal goal to walk more. Besides the fact that gas is $3.83 here I could use the walking. It keeps me busy! I am also hoping that one of these days on my walking adventures that I hit the jackpot and can afford cosmetic surgery!

Heart Attacked

So Saturday evening Tyler and I were sitting in our apartment. I am not sure how Tyler did hear them but the missionaries decided that they would heart attack our door. He was sitting in the front room. They were pretty quiet. I was impressed because they are never quiet. It was quite funny. They put funny sayings and scriptures on all the hearts and shapes. Pretty cute idea. This is a picture of the door and Elder Cason. Tyler calls him gator because he is from Florida. He insisted that I add his nickname. He gives them all nicknames. Beats me! Just confuses me.
So Tyler being the competitive person that he is had to retaliate. . . So here is the outcome. It took him a couple hours. He was sifting through the newspapers finding sports, clothing , and religious articles to cover their door. It was kind of nice to have him entertained for that long. LOL! But the boys loved it. So funny how boys sorry I mean men are so easily entertained.

Update

So I figured i would give an update on our lives. Nothing really new. I still love my job. He is teething though so yeah all you mom's know what I mean. He can be a brat. LOL! So it is a good birth control. It might just be the having to wake up at 5:15 every morning that is getting to me. I need my sleep!
Tyler is doing well. He loves his job. He still is training and so he is not to busy yet. I am sure it will come. Kind of nice right now because when I get home he has dinner ready and the laundry done. He makes a good house wife.
I made him buy me a softball glove today so I can learn how to catch a ball. Kind of funny. My arm is sore! Yea I am a wuss. But it was still fun. I will go pro here in a couple weeks. Yeah right! I can barely hit the ball let alone catch! haha Poor Tyler is learning patience. We also went to the batting cages and you guys can all imagine how that all went. I am afraid of the ball. And Tyler says I have no form! Whatever that means.

Notice Tyler's great form. LOL!!!!
Brat face Tyler told me to wear a helmet but I guess you don't have to in slow pitch cages. LOL! So now he is making fun of me for wearing it. I think he is just mad that I look better in a helmet then him.

Rascal Flatts Concert!

On April 10th Tyler and I went to the Rascal Flatt's and Taylor Swift Concert. It was so much fun! I love their music! We enjoyed every second of it. She is so cute and they are so funny! I recommend it to everyone. If you ever have the chance don't pass it up. It was so nice to leave the stress behind and sing along with the music. It was the chance of a lifetime! Thank you Tyler for taking me! YOU ROCK!

Neighbors and Job

So this last week we got to have the missionaries over for dinner. They live right next door to us. So we had them over for a BBQ. We see them all the time. They are our only friends. On Monday, which is there P-day, we went to the park and played some games with them and then on Wednesday they came for dinner. A couple other missionaries from the area came over also. It was so fun. Tyler was on cloud nine. He hasn't been that excited in a long time. It was nice to have friends over even though they were the next door neighbors and the elders. They are fun boys and they love to play pranks on Tyler. Keeps them all entertained as long as they keep me out of it. I feel like a mother figure to all of them. haha!

Here is a picture of Tyler with our tiny grill on our tiny deck! He was the outside chef and I help down the fort inside! I must say we made some good food!

I started my job last Monday! It is so much fun. I watch an 8 month old little boy named Liam. He is such a good baby. I am so lucky. He is on a very good schedule so it makes it really easy for me. His parents are so nice. They are both school teachers so I will only be watching him until the end of May. But it is a good experience for me. I absolutely love it! And Tyler loves it to because it gives me my baby fix so that we can hold of having kids for a little while.

NEW CAR!!!

So since my car was totaled out and we could only have the rental car for so long without having to pay for it we went and bought a new one! We got a 2008 Toyota Camry SE. It is so nice to drive. We decided to upgrade into a bigger car so when we have kids we will have more room. Ty isn't used to how long it is compared to the Corrola. He is so nervous it cracks me up. I guess I would be to if I had just been in 3 accidents since just right before Christmas time. I love driving it and I do most of the driving now because of his bad luck.
