Love this little face! She makes some of the funniest expressions. Here are some cute pics of our little one! Check out the boots! Thanks Aunt Carly they are so cute!

She sleeps like Grandpa Raymond and Ivy and mommy!
Tired girl! I love this picture!
We went to her 2 month check up today and got her shots. She did pretty good. Just cried for a minute. I kept her awake until after the shots so she cried the saddest cry then fell right asleep. Poor little girl! I hope I don't have to hear that cry for a long time.
Here are her stats: 11lbs 13 oz ~75%
24 in long ~ 95%
Head 15.25 in ~ 25%
So she did not get the Ortiz big head and is pretty long. So maybe we will have a basketball player! I thought she was going to be over 12lbs but I think her weight gain is slowing down for a bit. She is still a little chunk and we love her to death! She sleeps so good and is very smiley and chatty. I can tell she is going to be a social butterfly! Her eyes are still gray, some days they look bluer and other days have some brown so we will see! I am hoping for my blue eyes so that she will look like me in some way. She got my lips but I think that is it. Most people think she looks like her dad but I think that is because of her dark hair!
A little update on us... We are loving Reno! Tyler loves his new area and I am loving the small town. We are so excited for the holidays. We leave for Colorado on Monday! Wish us luck with the long drive. She does pretty good in the car if I am sitting back with her so Tyler will be our chauffeur. We went with him to work on Tuesday and Wednesday, so that his team could meet the baby. We were in the car quite a bit because we went to California and she did awesome so hopefully she will be that good! We are going to drive to Salt Lake and stay with my Aunt Pam and then get up early on Tuesday morning and drive the rest of the way. I think it is around 19 hours! We will be sick of the car. Then we will head home on Sunday and do the same kind of trip. Then we will be home for a few weeks then Ronnee and I are heading to AZ for Mickey's graduation on the 18th then Tyler will drive down and meet us there for Christmas. I can't believe it is already the Holiday season. Time is flying!

Ronnee loved her Auntie Ashley. She would just talk and talk and talk. It was so cute.
We took Ashley to Tahoe but didn't get any pictures of us all together.

8 weeks or 2 months already!
Today my little angel is 8 weeks and Tyler says 2 months. I don't count the months until the 14th of the month. But it is still crazy how fast time has flown by. We go to the doctor on the 19th for her 2 month check up. I will post her stats after the appointment. But I do know that she weighs nearly 12 lbs because I go to a mothers group every week and I get to weigh her there. She is quite the chunk!
This is how we get her to sleep at night! We call it her straight jacket! It works better then just wrapping her in the blanket because it velcros her in and she can't wiggle out. She tends to sleep better when she is in this because she can't hit herself in the face when she is being a wiggle worm.
She loves bath time! She kicks around and picks her bum up. She has some strong legs!
She is such a happy baby and I am so grateful for that. To get us out of the house a couple times a week we go to a mother's group and a breastfeeding class. It is nice to see other babies and hear how the mom's go about doing things. Some of them have cranky babies that seem to cry a lot for them and I am so happy that Ronnee isn't that way. She does have her little fits but so far she has been so easy. I am sure it means it is going to be that much worse when she is older and running around. She wiggles so much right now that I can only imagine that she is going to be an energetic kid. Tyler was such a crazy little boy that no one would babysit him. Lol! I hope she wont be that bad but I am sure we will have our hands full. So for now I will just enjoy cuddling with her! She is so much fun and I can't get enough of her!

Nevada Day Parade
October 31st was Nevada Day. It is a pretty big thing around here. They get a 3 day weekend and they have all kinds of celebrations. We went to the parade in Carson City. We were there watching for 3 hours and the parade was still not over. IT WAS SO LONG!! I had to nurse the baby while walking behind a building and worst of all I had to change her diaper in a bathroom in a BAR!! Yeah who take there new born in a bar. That would be me. There was no other place. It was very weird. I sat on the toilet and had her on my lap while changing her. Then some lady in the stall next to me was telling another lady that I was going to the bathroom while changing the baby. Crazy lady! I wanted to tell her that I wasn't and to not worry about it but I just laughed. The baby did awesome she just slept. We had a nice lady standing next to us told us all about the history of Nevada day. She was such a nice lady with 2 cute girls. It was an awesomely long parade! Can't wait until next year!
The GO REDSKINS float! lol
This was my favorite float. The Wild Ass Women! They had there donkey's with them. It was so funny!
Sleepy girl!
Waiting for the parade.
They had hot air balloons that morning. So it was fun to see them all in the air. You can see them landing in this picture. There were so many people there!
The funny old men! Tyler's favorite!
And tons of bands! Even huge Middle School bands.
It was a fun day! Makes us like Nevada even more!
