Then on to Colorado for the Day of Thanks!

My mother graciously took me to Albuquerque where we got to hang out with Mick and Albert for a little bit and have lunch and then my in-laws picked Ronnee and I up and we went and stayed in a nice hotel for the night and then headed to Colorado for the holidays. Thanks Mom and Mickey and Albert for making the trip!  Tyler actually beat us back to Pueblo so it worked out great.  But the hotel that we stayed at was so nice and had a few outdoor pools and they kept them heated to 85 degrees so even though it was cold outside they still got to swim!

It had a really cool 2 story slide that Brooklyn and Snakes had a blast on!

We need to go there in the summer one year for sure!

While in Pueblo we went to the North Pole…

Ronnee didn’t care for the rides but she had fun watching daddy and Brooklyn riding them!

We also went to the Children’s museum where Ronnee went from computer to computer thinking she was playing and ran up and down the stairs but the other girls had a fun time doing crafts!

We had a nice Thanksgiving at Terri and Ronnie’s house and then that evening we went to Uncle Roger’s house to visit and see the rest of the family. Ronnee had a blast playing with all the kids. She ran and ran and acted like a dog and did some more running. People kept asking me if she is always like that. Lol 

The Ortiz clan are a fun wild bunch!

One night we went to the fireworks at the river walk and saw all the Christmas lights. Ronnee thought they were pretty fun!

While we were in Pueblo we also went and saw the movie Happy Feet 2. Ronnee liked it but loved the stairs and having me chase her more. But I thought the movie was really funny. The parts I saw at least!   Also I got to escape twice… once to get my hair done. Such a nice feeling. Haven’t had it done since May. And the second time I escaped to see the movie Breaking Dawn. They Ortiz family was worried about me going to the movie all by myself but really it was nice to have some alone time!  

Over all Colorado was really fun. Ronnee decided to wanted to go shopping all the time and had a good time running around the house!  Thanks Ortiz family for all the fun!

Couple weeks in AZ!

We hitched a ride with the Adams’s family again and so we got to spend a couple weeks in AZ before heading to Colorado for Thanksgiving. 

Ronnee of course had a lot of fun playing with her cousins and living the country life!  We stayed in the Valley a couple days before heading to Sj so she got to play with Charlie and Allyson. Her and Charlie played really good together and we would just put them outside in the back and watch them from the window but they both love it outside so much that they were happy campers! Of course I dont have any pics of that. I only got a couple shots of them playing in the tub one night!

Allyson and Ronnee forgot that it wasn’t summer and played in the pool. The water was cold but outside was in the 70’s so they didn’t mind!

We stayed to watch the High School Girls State soccer game and then headed to good ole San Juan!

I didn’t take a lot of pictures while there. Not sure why but we were busy having lots of fun and eating! lol   We went to the ranch one day with Jake and Ronnee was in heaven that he brought  Monwoe (Monroe). She has no fear of cows or horses so she just stood in the middle of the way when the cows were running her direction. Jake said it made him a little nervous. lol And she got to ride the horse and take him for a walk also forgetting that when she stopped that didn’t mean that the horse would stop. Now that made me a little nervous!

She loved that there was a horse and some cows at my parents house along with some chickens. She would love anyone that would take her out to see them!  Uncle Sam and Grandpa were her favorite because they would take her often!  She also loved going to Rachel’s house not only to play with Ivy and the other kids but because they had chickens and some kitties!  No pics of her playing with the animals but a here are a couple of cute twin butts!

I was so glad that one of the days we were there Grant had a wrestling meet! I hate that I miss all the kids sporting events. I hope when I am home for Christmas that we can watch Sam!  Grant did so good and beat the other kid. He is a skinny little boy but so strong!

I dont think I have ever mentioned this on here but that sweet little boy suffers from Ulcerated Colitis (sp). They are trying different kids of Steroids but nothing seems to make it better. He continues to have blood in his stool and has pain. I hope and pray they can figure something out! So stressful for him and his mother!

These kids are hilarious and full of energy!

Potty training was awesome on the drive. No accidents but when we got to AZ she decided that it was cool to have accidents. She got better and the trip went on but we survived.

While we were there her talking went to a whole new level. She has become even more bossy and find that talking can help that. She would make messes and sink “everyone clean up” and make you get on the floor if you werent helping and help. She would yell at Sam “get down everyone cleaning.” Little brat but it was entertaining but Sam would actually get down and help her! lol  She also liked to call my dad “Grandma” even though she can and would say “grandpa” but she found it entertaining when she could get a rise out of him by calling him the wrong name!  She also discovered that being a dog is fun and everyone would pet her!  And she found a joy in Running while in Az. Maybe it was the fact that Rachel and my mom are training for a Half marathon so they were running a lot!

This little girl is growing up so fast and it is so fun to watch!
