Christmas
Fun in Phoenix
Picture Overload! It was so funny how excited Rachel's kids were to meet Little Ronnee. It is about time she got to meet more family! That is the worst part about living far away from family! Raymond held her for like an hour while she slept. He told me he was getting sleepy but didn't want me to take her! lol And little Ivy called her Baby Wonnee! So that is a little nick name for her now!My little babysitters!
Taylen was so fun with Ronnee. She got her to sleep and then took pictures of her! Ronnee just loved her! Here is Ronnee and Cody's first engagement picture! He loved her and was calling her Cutie! Haha!
Thank you Janalee for letting us stay with you for a couple days! It was so fun to see you and your family. We had so much fun! It was fun to bake and just hang out and talk!
And thank you Jessica for letting us stay with you one of the nights!
We also got to be there for Chales Raymond's (Charlie) blessing! Here are some pictures from the wonderful day!
The Aunties and Uncles minus Abe and Sally. You were truely missed!Angry Mrs. Claus and the Little Reindeer!
Mick's Graduation
Mickey Graduated! It was so fun to watch her graduate with her BSN. She has worked so hard for this and I am so excited for her to be able to spend more time with friends then in the library!
Way to go Mickey we are so proud of you!

Christmas Letter
This year has been such a fun year for our family. In January we found out that we were expecting our first child due in Sept. so our year was filled with being pregnant and all the joys that go along with that. We didn’t find out what we were having so on September 14th at 11:16pm we had a little GIRL! We named her Ronnee Evalene Ortiz. She weighed 7lbs 13oz and was 19.25 in long. We named her after her Snakes aka Tyler’s dad Ronnie and her middle name is both of our Grandma’s names combined, Evelyn and Merlene. Both of our mothers got to come out and help us welcome her into the world! Thank you mom and Terri; she has been the light of our eyes. She is such a sweet baby and is growing up way too fast! I hope that she knows how much she is loved and how blessed we are to have her in our family.
Also this year we got the opportunity to move out of San Jose, CA to Reno, NV. We loved San Jose but it was so expensive and Tyler loves moving us around. So 2 weeks after Ronnee was born we packed our stuff up and headed to NV. Thank you Ronnie and Terri for all of your help; we wouldn’t have been able to do it without you! We are loving Reno so far. Tyler loves how close we are to the mountains and we even got some snow today! It is definitely nice to be out of that big city! I love the small town feel that Reno provides. I am hoping that we will stay here for the next few years of our lives! But you never know with Tyler!
Besides those two major events in our life, Tyler is doing awesome. He loves his job and the people that he works with. He travels a little more with this territory but he feels that it is way worth because he gets to wake up and see the mountains every day. He is a great provider for our family and the best father to Little Ronnee. And he spoils the both of us so we are good to go!
I am doing good also. I love being a mother. We have so much fun together. I have a new best friend. I can’t wait for her to be able to talk back to me. It gets old just hearing my own voice. I am lucky enough to get to stay home with the little one and I am loving it. On Thursdays we go to a new mothers group. It is nice to get out and meet new people and just talk to other adults in person. That was the downfall of moving was that I was going to lose all my friends again. I had a friend in San Jose that was pregnant with me and had a baby a week before I did and man do I miss her. I am so grateful for texting! But Tyler and I are growing closer because once again we are our only friends. But I can’t complain because I love that I get to stay home!
Ronnee is now 3 months old. She sleeps really good. Wakes up a couple times a night to eat still but I can’t complain. She goes to bed at 8pm and wakes up at 7am. She is so funny in the mornings, it takes her like 30 minutes to wake up. She stretches and stretches and then finally opens up her eyes and smiles. Such a funny kid already. I put her in front of the mirror the other day and she started cracking up! It was the cutest thing. She either thinks she is funny or her mom is that funny looking. At her 2 month check up she weighed 11.13lb (75%) and was 24 in long (95%). So she is long! She is so much fun and I love watching her grow and change everyday. I can already tell she has a fun personality!
So overall we are doing so good and couldn’t ask for anything more. We are so grateful for all our family and friends and wish you all the best in 2010!
Love The Tyler Ortiz Family!
Sent it out to a few but figured I would put in on here also! Hope everyone has the best Christmas!

New additions!
Ronnee didn't get to be the baby for very long, on the 23rd of November Ronnee got a new cousin!! Ryan and Alecia (tyler's brother) had a little girl, Rylee Renee Ortiz! And last night Isaac and Stephanie finally had their little boy, Charles Raymond Isaacson(Charlie.) So now Ronnee will have a cousin on both sides that are close to her age! What a lucky little girl! I can't wait to meet both of them!!

3 months! And December so far…
Can you believe that Little Ronnee is 3 months old today. She is growing up way too fast. I love this picture of her, she looks so serious. She is so much fun and makes us laugh everyday. She goes to bed around 8 or 9, which I love because I am sleeper, and she wakes up around 7 or 8. She does eat a couple times in the night but nothing to crazy. She takes like 3 or 4 naps a day. I think she is taking after her mother. But when she is awake she is crazy like her dad.
We have been suffering from thrush or yeast or something and it has been beyond painful to nurse. But we are suffering through it and hopefully it will go away soon. It doesn’t seem to bother her so I am happy with that but man I would love for it not to hurt me anymore. I want to enjoy nursing again.
Here are a few pics for your enjoyment!
Tyler went out on his own to get our Christmas tree this year. We don’t have a big enough car with 4 wheel drive. So he came home with the Griswold family Christmas tree. I married Clark W. Griswold for those of you that have seen “Christmas Vacation.” The tree was way to tall so we had to cut a few feet off of it and move the kitchen table and put in there. It turned out to be really pretty! Tyler did a good job even though it was an adventure for him.
This is what we woke up to! LOTS AND LOTS of SNOW!! And it is still snowing so we are stuck inside!
We are so excited about going to AZ in 8 days!!!!!!

Brooklyn getting Ronnee to sleep
Brooklyn had so much fun with Ronnee. When we were leaving she told Ronnee that she will "always have a place in her heart"
We had such a fun visit to Colorado. It was sad to have to leave.
We drove the 18 hours there and Ronnee did so good. She slept most of the way and was an angel when she was awake. She did wake up pissed a coupld times because she couldn't stretch. This little girl loves to stretch and wiggle. She hasn't stopped moving since we got home!
Now we are getting ready for our Christmas trip!!! Got to get my shopping done!

Thanksgiving in Colorado

The top 2 pics are of Grandma Mary and the girls and the rest of the fam!
We had a fun Thanksgiving! Ronnie and Terrie were in Texas with Ryan and his family. They welcomed a new little girl to the family on the 23rd! Little Rylee Renee is super cute and we cant wait to meet her. They did return on Friday night so we got to see them for a couple days. They got to see all 4 granddaughters in the same week! Such a great thing when we all live in different states!
First we had dinner at Grandma Mary's. Ronnee slept pretty much the whole time and we couldn't get her to wake up! But other then her being a sleepy head the food was so yummy and we loved seeing that side of the family.
Then we headed over to Grandma Evie's with all the Ortiz family. The kids all had fun taking turns holding Little Ronnee. At one point they were rocking and singing her to sleep! It was so fun to hang out with all of them. Such a loud fun family like my own!
