The tears are falling….

Today I when to my friend Jen’s house to practice using our cameras on our children. We got some cute ones and now that I am home looking at them they made me see that my baby is not longer a baby. I seriously started crying when I looked at this photo because she looks so old….

She is growing up so fast. She is acting older and getting so smart but in these pictures she looks how she acts. I want my baby back! I love this stage that she is in but I miss my cuddly little infant! Yes I am baby hungry and have been for a year!  And I realize before I know it she will be doing this and it wont be with my phone but her own…

and doing this when i am not watching and with her eyes closed…

Love you Little Ronnee!

17 months already!

Now I am almost caught up with the journaling!!!! On Valentines Day Ronnee turned 17 months which scares me because that means she is almost  a year and a half!  We had a good Valentines day and got treats from both Grandma’s and some card from her Arkansas cousins!  And I got some flowers from Tyler. So over all it was a wonderful day!   We went into 17 months without a binky but it brought on the terrible 2’s!!!! Now if she doesn’t get what she want which is often she lays on the ground screaming and rolling around. The other day it was in Toyota while my oil was getting changed. Tyler was so embarrassed!  She has quite the temper and it is funny to see this little tiny thing get so angry!   But even with her fiery temper and attitude she has quite the funny personality.  She is always making me laugh. She loves loves loves shoes, so she is always bringing me a pair or even trying to wear her dads. The other day I put her in her room for time out and when I went to get her out she has gathered shoes from her closet and put them by the door. Not sure if she thought they were going to help her or if she knew I would have to clean them up!  And as of yesterday her favorite shoes are her flip flops whether they be matching or not she wants them on at all times! SHE IS READY FOR SUMMER I THINK!  And of course it has been snowing so we have to fight her to change into real shoes when we need to go outside.

Speaking of outside… she loves being outside. The last couple morning we have needed to shovel snow and she throws a fit unless she is outside with her dad watching him work. (yes she is sick and we bundle her up really good)   We are really missing those 60 degree days we had where we went to the park. This cold snowy stuff is for the Alaskans!
Well enough of me rambling here are some more pics!

The joys of weaning R from the binky!

So a couple days after my mom left Tyler left to AZ for some meetings and me being the not so smart person that I am decided I should take on the task of removing Ronnee’s source of comfort on my own.   NO MORE BINKY!

The first couple of days were rough and the getting to sleep is still a pain and we are on our 2nd week!  But at least now she knows it is gone and I think for the most part has forgotten it. The hardest part was that was how she could sooth herself to sleep. You could put it in her mouth and she would be out in  like 5 minutes.  So without it took like 45 minutes of crying to get to be at night, naps were a huge fight and were sometimes gone without. One day we fought for 2 hours and she never caved. She is one determined little girl. Another hard part was when she would wake up at night she would just cry because she wanted it. We are some of the unlucky people that dont have a kid that sleeps through the night. She still wakes up 2 or 3 times which sucks. She is just not a sleeper!  She was getting better with the whole no binky thing and then she got sick.

So now she has a horrible cough that wakes her up constantly and a yucky nose. And the little boy down the rode from us has RSV and has been over a few times so I keep stressing that she is going to get it but so far so good. I hoping this cough will go away so we can get back to getting her to sleep like a dream that other get to enjoy!

To Grandmother's house we went!

So Aunt Mickey came to visit a few days before Grandma Isaacson came and then we drove up to Idaho to see Grandma Mickey! We had so much fun!  Ronnee was spoiled rotten of course. I am still trying to break her of  thinking she needs a phone in her hands at all times and not just a phone but one that plays music. Thanks Aunt Mickey!!!

Mickey got here on the 26th our 3rd wedding Anniversary and offered to watch Ronnee but instead we ordered pizza and played Kinect. MICK AND I KILLED TYLER!!!

The next couple of days we SHOPPED!  Saturday morning I went to my camera class and learned a ton! Then we went to the dog park…

At some point we went to the park and took pics of Ronnee.

Then we picked up Grandma I at the airport and Sunday we headed to Idaho!  R slept a lot of the drive which made it easier. We stayed at my Aunt Janet’s and the next day we picked up Grandma Mickey from her Assisted living home and went to Jaime’s to see the puppies!

Then on the 1st my 27th birthday we did some shopping with Grandma Mick and had lunch at the Olive Garden then got in the car and drove back to Reno!

On Thursday we took Mickey to the airport and then my mom and I spent the next couple days going to fabric stores and sewing and trying to keep warm.

Thank you so much Mom and Mickey for coming and making our lives more fun! It was hard to adjust to life without the help. Poor Ronnee is now realizing how boring I am. Plus it has been a few years since anyone has been around to help me celebrate my birthday!

LOVE AND MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY!
