Christmas 2010
Well I sure hope everyone has had a great year because we sure have! It has been filled with lot of trips to see family and friends and making our house a home. At the end of February we purchased a home! It has been a lot of work but we are loving it. We have grass in our backyard, color on our walls, and we are still working on the decorating but it is coming together. We love our neighborhood and have made a lot of fun friends; this has been our big adventure this year. Normally we have moved or had a baby so to say the least this year has been pretty quiet and I think we needed it!
Tyler is doing really good; he is keeping busy with work and still loves his job. We just went to a work Christmas party with his team and I can see why he loves getting together with them. They are like a little family which I am sure makes work easier for them all. He is really good at what he does and I am so proud of all his accomplishments. When he is not working he is here at home taking care of his 2 little friends. We now have 2 dogs. A Rottweiler named Tulo that is 6 months old and a little fluffly lab named Dinger that is 10 weeks. They are always into something but Little Ronnee loves them to pieces except for when her dad locks her inside so that he can clean up their messes!
I am keeping busy taking care of the little one and the house. I am loving the exercise that I get from walking the dogs while pushing the baby. Much easier said than done that is for sure, but we are all getting better at it. I have made a lot of friends here and they are my saving grace most days. When I painted the house a couple of them came over and helped me, which means we had 3 little ones and we still managed to get it done with no major problems. I am grateful for all of them! Ronnee is pretty much my life and it is a pretty sweet life for sure!
Ronnee (15months) is a crazy little monster! She eats as much if not more then I do and is still a tiny little peanut. She finally reached 17lbs!!! She is constantly on the go, at 6 months she started crawling and has not stopped moving since then. She started walking at around 14 months and is now running. She is very bossy and talks all the time. I am sure we are in for a treat when she actually starts putting words together. For now it is Lulu (tulo) Mamamamama just like that, and Daddy in the sweetest voice. Mamamama doesn't mean just me either it also means drink, food, or whatever she is wanting! I can't wait for her to just call me mom in a sweet voice! She makes us laugh all the time. She keeps me on my toes and gets cuter and more fun everyday. I am not sure what we would do with out her this little ball of fire!
We hope that this next year is filled with as much fun and adventure, which I am sure it will because I am married to Tyler and have his clone for a kid!
Love you all and wish you the best Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Baby girl is 15 months!
Can you believe it….. It is crazy to me! I felt like a I better post her stats. I measured her before we left to AZ for Thanksgiving and she was 29 in and now she is 29 1/2in. Not a lot but when you are that little it means a lot! lol She seemed like she was growing so I am glad I measured her. I will weigh her on Thursday at Mom’s group because I weighed her on the scale here at home and it said she weighed 16.4 which would mean she has lost weight and I hoping that is not true! She is starting to be really bossy and that is not fun but I am glad she is starting to at least communicate. I cant wait for her to put more words together so she can really tell me what she wants instead of just going to the fridge. The other night she woke up at 4:30am and went to the fridge. Tyler gave her 1 1/2 things of yogurt. This little girl is a PIG! She eats more then I do some days but I am not sure where she puts it. 8 small pancakes for breakfast the other day and then some frosted mini wheat! Crazy girl! Love that little screamer!
So I weighed Ronnee today and she weighs 17.2! So that is up 11 oz since her first birthday and she has grown an inch a half since then also! So she is growing slowly but surely!
Parties
December is full of parties!! We went to Tyler’s company Christmas party on the 4th in Sacramento. It was so much fun. It was a Chandra’s beautiful home and Ronnee had a blast! She danced the night away and played with the puppies. Anytime she heard music she would jump out of my arms and run to the room and dance! It was so funny to watch! This little girl can find a beat! She stayed up until 1:30am dancing. It was crazy how happy she was. We never heard a peep. Chandra and her husband dont have any children and the kept telling me how Ronnee makes them want to have a baby. She put on a good show! She is a party animal! And when she wasn’t dancing she was playing with the other kids or the puppies. She loves dogs! Here are some pics from all the fun!
We stayed the night and then woke up and hurried home so we could make it to Vincent’s 2nd birthday. No pictures from that but it is so fun for R to have neighbor friends!
Then the next weekend we had Tristen’s 1st birthday party! He is the last of our little mom’s group to turn 1! It was a beautiful 60 degree day! We played outside and soaked it all in! Then after the party we stayed and had a little Christmas party with Bryan and Jen and some other friends!
And tomorrow we are going over to Jen’s to have a cookie making party!!!! This is the best part about December!!!

Christmas Tree Hunting
We attempted to get a tree twice…. the first time we went to dog valley and there was so much snow that we kept that getting stuck. It was stressing me and the puppies out. The dogs were puking and I was hyperventilating and Tyler thought it was so funny. But thank heavens Tyler decided it was to snowing so we got to return home in hopes to try again another day. No pictures from that adventure. That was the last thing on my mind.
We tried again a couple days later but we went to a different place where the roads were maintained and we left the puppies at home. They don’t do so well in the car and it would have sucked to have to carry the baby and the puppies through the deep snow. We found a spot parked the car and started hiking in the snow. Ronnee fell asleep on my shoulder so she was dead weight and the snow was like thigh deep. It sucked to walk and then fall in and try and get out with no hands! Plus we were not dressed for rolling in the snow! At one point R and I sat down in some packed snow and let Tyler go hike around. He was gone for a while but came back and decided there was no way even if he found a tree that we could climb out with it! So we decided a Home Depot tree would work for us this year. We got the adventure and the ease of getting a tree and that worked for us this year, well at least for the little one and I. Tyler was a little upset he didnt get to cut it down! lol
Oh what fun it is to be married to Tyler! Never a dull moment!
Thanksgiving in AZ
Ronnee and I flew to AZ the week before Thanksgiving. When we got there we went to lunch with some of my fam and then we went out and saw my Grandpa Cutler who is living in AZ for the winter. Doesn’t Mickey look gorgeous in that pic!
Charlie and R dancing! They had a lot of fun together even if it didnt seem that way. After she got used to him hugging on her they were good to go.
While we were down in the valley we got to spend some time with Jess and Allyson! Thank you guys for letting us stay at your house! It is always fun to get the girls together. It will be even more fun when they are a little older and can play with each other.
We also did some shopping and got to go to dinner with my good friend Ashley but we don’t have any pictures of that! Except this one of cute little Charlie playing with Ronnee underneath the changing room door.
Then on Thursday morning Mick and Ronnee and I took a nap and headed to Joe City to watch Sam and Grant wrestle. It was so fun to watch them because we never get to! That is one of the hard parts about living so far away, we have to miss watching the kids sporting events.
After the boys kicked some butt we headed home to SJ! At some point on Wednesday evening Ronnee started running a low fever and it progressively got worse. So the poor little thing was sick until Sunday. She had some kind of viral infection and she was just miserable so I glad it went away so she could play with her cousins and enjoy herself. She had a lot of fun playing with the kids especially Ivy. They will have so much fun when they are older I am sure!
Ronnee was sick on this day so bath time wasn’t fun for her but Ivy sure had a good time! Later that same day Grandpa took Ivy, Ronnee, and I to the ranch to help Jake with the cows. While at the ranch she helped Grandpa drive, rode a bull (not a fan), and a horse(not a fan) and cried in the back of the truck! I hope next time we are there she wont be so sick so she will enjoy all of this stuff!
The girls also got to read stories with Grandma…
Sam thought it was a smart idea to wrestle Mickey and I! I am sure you could guess that we won! And only because we have some weight on him. That kid is so skinny now. He has really thinned out!
Ronnee tried riding a real horse again and she wasn’t as mad about it but probably because Aunt Hannah was with her.
But she would much rather be on the little fake horse.
There is nothing like an AZ sunset….
We got to watch some more wrestling in SJ on Tuesday… and Jake was the ref!
Here is a cute pic of all the puppies keeping warm.
Every year on the morning of Thanksgiving our family does a turkey trot. They have started having shirts and inviting whoever wants to run. It was pretty fun even though I didn’t really run and the weather wasn’t to bad.
Then Ronnee drove us home to eat a yummy dinner!
In true Isaacson tradition there was a lot of work being done around our house during the holiday breaks. This time they were working on the bunk house and it is coming together very nicely! Doesn’t Sam look so cute and grown up in this picture!
We also got to take some senior pics for Hannah. Here are a few of her and Ronnee, I haven’t looked through the rest of them. And we took some cute family pics of Rachel’s family.
We had a really fun trip! It is always nice to go home and hang with the family. Now if only we could get Abe and Sally to show up one of these times so we can all be together. Thanks Mom and dad for everything!
And here is what our car looked like for our 15 hour drive home. We stayed in a hotel for the night and the pictures say enough! Ronnee loved every second of it!
* Side story: After this trip it made me appreciate having such a big family! While I was in SJ, I had a miscarriage and I think that it would have been a whole lot harder for me to handle if I wasn’t at home with all of my sisters and my mother! I am not sure what I would have done with out them and all the distractions that come with getting such a big group together!! Thank you Mom for having so many kids! I LOVE IT!!!
