The dreaded post :(

So we went to Colorado for the the 4th of July and it was so much fun until Tuesday when Tyler got the phone call from work telling him that the company was laying off 600 people and Tyler was one of them. They got rid of his position and in two weeks he will no longer have a job. So you can imagine it was a hard day and is still very hard. We are now applying for new jobs. There is still the opportunity that he can get another job in the same company. Most likely we will be moving. So yeah no more new house for me. It is a good thing we didn't sign all the papers on the house and that we don't have any kids. We are in a good situation to be able to move where ever we find a job. Just stressful to think about.

Well, guess what????

No I am not having a baby! We put a bid in on a house and we got chosen!!!!! So now we are doing paperwork and all that jazz. It is so exciting and so stressful at the same time. I am sure others can relate. Now we are trying to figure out money. . . keep us in your prayers. As soon as I get some pictures I will post some for sure!

We are off to Colorado for the Fourth of July to see some Ortiz Family! Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday weekend!

Happy 1st Birthday Lincoln!

Abe and Sally's baby turned 1 today! Hope he has the best 1st birthday. I am sure Haley and Slade will help him with that! Love you Lincoln!

Every little boy does it. . .

and thier dad's absolutely hate it. My sister Rachel and her kids are at home in SJ for the week with my mom, when Hannah went downstairs to find Aneron, Raymond and Cj dressed up in dresses and Grant was playing thier cat. I remember the good old days of using my imagination and dressing my brothers up as girls!

Girls weekend!

Mick and Jess got to come out and visit this last weekend. It was a ton of fun or at least I thought so. lol! We went to watch a baseball game and then went to eat with Tyler's friend that plays on the team. Then on Saturday we girls went and got our nails done and then we went shopping. That evening we went to dinner with missionaries. It was Elder Aland's birthday, so we gave him a little party. Then Sunday we hung out at Folsom Lake. The water was perfect and so was the weather. Then on Monday we hung out at home most of the day. We girls 10 run ruled the boys in baseball! GIRLS RULE!!! Then we did some more shopping and then they sadly had to go. Hopefully next time Ben can come so Tyler will have a friend. Thanks for coming girleez!

Jacob Riley came to visit!

Jacob got to come out and visit Tyler and I this last weekend. It was a lot of fun. We went to Reno on Friday afternoon, Jacob has some friends from school that worked up there so we got to see them. Reno was fun, just dirty. It was fun watching all the people. We didn't really enjoy the gambling part of it. I guess if you don't win you don't really like it. HAHA! Then on Saturday morning we drove back home by way of Lake Tahoe. It is so pretty there! Then Saturday night we went to a minor league baseball game. Tyler has a friend from High School that plays for the Oakland A's triple A team. So it was fun to see him. Then Sunday we just hung out and were bums. Tyler isn't big on sitting still and Jake and I are big on relaxing. It was funny. And on Monday morning I took him back to the airport. It was so fun to have some family here. We are trying to convince Jacob to move here. He would love it.
Now I have a couple days to relax and clean and then Jess and Mick will be here! WE are going to have so much fun I can't wait!
Thanks for coming to visit us Jacob Riley!

Soccer. . .

So I had my first soccer game on Thursday night and I am still trying to recover. I swear every muscle in my body is hurting. I can barely walk up and down stairs and I cant even flex my thighs. It is so horrible. Note to self never take a five year break from soccer ever again. It is not an easy sport to start up again. My body can't handle the pain. I hope it goes away by next game, otherwise I might die. But other then my soarness(sp) it was a lot of fun. The women are all very nice. They are so good! I hope they don't regret letting me join the team.

To the cutest Arkansas kids in the world!

I have the cutest nephews and niece in Arkansas. Haley is 6 going on 26 and Slade is 4 and has John Deere green eyes and Lincoln is almost one! They pointed out to me that I didn't have any pictures of them on my blog. I am so sorry Haley and Slade that doesn't mean that I don't LOVE you and less then anyone else. I think that you are the sweetest kids. I need to plan a trip to see you guys as soon as possible. And I can't wait to see you guys at the 24th of July celebration in Arizona. Haley, you and Aneron will have to give Mickey and I another make over and then we will have a photo shoot with all of us. Don't let me forget to take a lot of pictures when we see each other so that I can add more pictures of you guys to my blog. Love you guys!

Dear Journal

Dear Journal it has been so long...so much has happened. Okay not really, but I still want to write about my thoughts!
1. I started my new nanny job. Different from my other one but I am adjusting. I miss Liam.
2. I have been working out so much better this week, which makes me feel so much better. I found a walking partner in my apartment complex. Her name is Jenny, she is an awesome girl. I joined a soccer league. Wish me luck! On Friday I wont be able to walk. But I hope all this will make me feel better about myself worth.

3. We are still looking for a house but we did recently put a bid on one in Elk Grove. So hopefully this searching process will end soon.
4. Gas is $4.43 here. So I am looking into purchasing a bike because my legs don't feel like walking everywhere.
5. Tyler is doing wonderful in his job. Most of it is from home so he is pretty lucky. He has also been working out a lot, not with me because I walk to fast for his short legs, or so he says. I just think he just doesn't want to move them any faster. He loves the elliptical and I hate machines. So he works out inside and I stick to outside.
6. Jacob Riley is coming to visit us this weekend. WE ARE SO EXCITED!! I miss my family more than anything!
7. I love otter pops! They only cost $3.97 for a box of 100. And the missionaries each eat 30 a day. They come over every time they are home for a minute and grab some. I even think that they have figured out how to sneak in our apartment and help themselves. They are not allowed to eat the pink ones and they know the consequences if they break the rules. Yeah I know I sound like there mom. But hey it is my house my rules!
8. One of them got transferred on Monday. TEAR TEAR! So we lost a friend. Well not really but kind of. We will miss you Elder Cason!
9. I have been swimming a lot lately. And I have come up with the conclusion that TAN fat is better then WHITE fat! So yeah I am getting tan as fast as I can!
10. I got to see some pictures of my nieces and nephews and they are getting bigger. I forgot to tell them to stay little for me! LOL! Lincoln my brothers baby is almost a year old. Last time I saw him he was only one month old. I can't wait to see them all at the 24th celebration! Once again I miss my family!
11. I don't think I have ever told you that Tyler has two nieces. Brooklyn who is five and Taylon who is one. They are cute kids. Taylon really doesn't know me she was only a couple months old when I saw her last. But she is so cute. They send me lots of pics to my phone. I love it. And Brooklyn is one of my bestest friends. When we are together we do everything together. I miss Tyler's family like I miss my own, wait they are my family to! SWEET!
12. I know there is more but I can't think of any at the moment.

So thanks for listening to the thoughts of the day!

Ivy Jane! I can't make it any bigger.

OOPS!

So I forgot to post something on Mother's day. My bad! I did send out cards so I didn't forget them all together. Here is a couple pictures the mothers in my life. And by the way I have the bestest mother in the whole wide world. She rules and I hope she knows that. The first one is of Tyler and his mommy and then this is the only picture I have of my mom on the computer.

Here is a list of things that I hope I get from my mom!
Her love for running. She is going to run the St. George Marathon in October. She is amazing. Ten kids and she is 5? and she still has the energy to run 26.2 miles.
Her family is the most important thing to her.
Her ability to make anyone feel comfortable.
Her patience.
Her love for sewing.
And the list could go on and on!

Love you mom!

Help!

Can someone help me figure out how to get my picture and your names back on the side instead of on the bottom??? PLEASE PLEASE! I am special.

Update

So I had my last day with my sweet little boy Liam. It was a sad day but I get to still watch him a few more times whenever they need me. He was such a good baby and so cute. And his parents were the nicest people in the whole wide world. I miss him. And on Monday I start with a new family. They have 3 kids. Danielle is 8, Zackary is 4, and Megan is six months. It should be a fun time. Way different from the last one but still fun. Good birth control. lol
Guess what. . . I am going to have more visitors!!! Jacob is coming to visit Father's Day weekend and Jess and Mick are coming the following weekend. I am so excited. I love having visitors. It gives me something to look forward to. And then a couple weekends after that we are going to Colorado to see his whole family. It will be so fun to see Ryan and Alecia and Taylon. We haven't seen them in a year. So we miss them. It will also be fun to see Brooklyn and Brandi. We miss them tons because we hung out with them all the time when we lived in Colorado. And then we are going to Arizona for a few days at the end of July for the 24th celebration. So we have a pretty fun summer planned.
We also put a bid in on a house. We are not sure when we will find out if we got it. We loved the house and I can't wait to get into something bigger then our one bedroom apartment. I will keep you posted.
Well I think that is all for now. If I forgot something I am sure Tyler will let me know.

Fun week with the In- Laws!

Tyler's parents got to come spend a week with us this last week. It was so fun. We went to San Fran for a couple days, tons of shopping, baseball game, looked at houses, and more shopping. Terri loves to shop like I do. Poor Tyler. But overall it was a lot of fun. I can't wait to go see them for the 4th of July. We missed Brooklyn and Brandi but they will come next time. Our apartment isn't big enough for everyone. I can't wait until we have a house and then everyone can come.

Tyler's weekend

Tyler felt sad that I had a post for my weekend and he didn't. Poor baby! Well when I was gone his friend Josh from Colorado came to visit him. They had a fun time. They went to a Nuts game. Which is a minor league baseball game and they have to do something with the Rockies. So probably a good time to go so that I wouldn't have to join them. Don't get me wrong I love baseball but just a good time for him and his friend. On Saturday they hung out in Roseville. They went swimming, played catch, and went to the batting cages just to name a few things. They seem to of had a good time. I am glad that it worked out that Josh could come and visit when I was going to be gone so Tyler wouldn't be alone. Poor thing. But I hope that next time Josh comes that he can bring Jamila and we can all hang out. Here are a couple pictures of the boys.

Fun weekend in AZ!

I got to go home and see the family for Mother's Day weekend except I didn't get to see my mommy! TEAR TEAR! But she did get a weekend of semi peace and quiet. She only had to deal with Jacob and we all know how that could be. LOL! Just teasing we love you Jake!
First off I flew in and my daddy, mick, and sam picked me up at the Airport and we went and ate at Peter Piper Pizza with the Rachel and her fam and Ike and Steph and Jess. It was a lot of fun. The kids love the pizza and play the games. It was the first time I got to meet the new addition. She is so freakin cute. Makes me want to have one just like her. Then on Saturday morning we went and watched the kids play soccer. It was so funny. Raymond is hilarious. He just runs around. He will be a pro like his older brother Grant one day. It wouldn't let me put the pictures of them playing because they were to big. But there is a couple of them. Aneron is so cute to watch. She has definitely gotten better from last time I watched her when she was playing tag with another little girl. One of these days she is going to be like her mom and aunties on the field. After the game we went and helped my dad pick out some stuff for the deck for my mom for mother's day. I hope she liked all the stuff. It will be nice to go home and use it.
Later that day I went shopping with Hannah and Jessica. That was a lot of fun. We had a good shopping day. Jess found a lot of good deals and Hannah found some cute stuff also. I refrained from trying anything on. I am trying to lose some weight and my nephews helped me remember that. Got to love there honesty.
That evening we met up at the park and had some cookies. Lindsay and Jacque and there families came. That was a lot of fun. It was good to see them and Josh and Caleb also came. It was a fun get together. Thanks everyone for coming! Made me feel loved.
On Sunday we went to church and the kids sang to their mothers. It was very cute. Also Aneron had a talk. She did a good one on families. She is an awesome big sister. Such a good example. I can't believe how old she is.
After church I went and hung out with Ashley for a while. It was so good to see her and catch up. I miss her dearly!
When I got home the kids and I played on the slip and slide. Well okay I watched and they played. Raymond wouldn't let me forget that I brought my swimming suit. It was very entertaining watching them. When they new I had the camera up they would act really funny and pose. It was great. I don't know where they get all that energy from. Must be from their dad's side of the family because the Isaacson's are all so quiet and to themselves. HAHA yeah right! And then that night I went to Jess and Ben's for a little bit and then they took me to the airport. Thank you guys. And thank you Rachel and Cameron for letting me stay at your house. It was so much fun. I just love hanging out with them. I wish I could do that once a month. Rachel has the best kids ever. I hope my kids are as cute as they are. I must say my siblings produce some cute kids. I hope Tyler and I are that lucky.
It was such a fun weekend. I can't wait to see them all again soon! Love you all!

Funny Husband

So Tyler decided that he wanted to make me dinner tonight and he just walked through the room and said " this whole being a woman thing is harder then it looks." I can't stop laughing. He is special. I need to remind him he said that next time he nags me. LOL!
I will post again in a few when I get all my pictures from my fun weekend onto the computer! Just couldn't resist telling that. And I need to publish it now because I am Lorraine's granddaughter and I have the worst memory.

Another pic!

It wouldn't let me add this to the slide show but I love this picture of the scenery! So I am making a post just for it! LOL! Tyler made fun of me because I said it was a picture perfect spot! Then there is me posing like I am a pro! I am the next Lance Armstrong as long as the seat is comfortable! I have a big butt but it still isn't enough padding for a long bike ride!

Tyler gone and we already miss him!

I took Tyler to the airport this evening to fly to So Cal for work for the week. He will be home on Thursday night so he can take me to the airport on Friday afternoon. He is down there for work they are doing some kind of transition down there and they needed his help. So off he went! Sweet! JK! I do miss him but not as much as the boys in the pic. I stepped outside the apartment so they could go in a raid his closet. Then they dressed in his clothes so I could take a pic and send it to him. Made him laugh!

So we are going to be pretty busy the next couple weeks. . . Tyler is gone this week and then I go to AZ this weekend so see my new niece and the rest of the clan which I can't wait to do. And then Tyler's parents are coming on the 17th to stay for a week. It will be a lot fun. We plan on doing a lot of exploring and looking at houses and a whole lot of fun stuff! It will be so nice to go and see family and have family come see us and see where we live! Love you all and can't wait to see you!

P.S. To all you smart college students good luck with finals and if you are already done congrats and enjoy your summer! Congrats Jess for graduating and good luck with your new job! LOVE YOU!

Trip to Lake Tahoe

This last weekend Tyler and I decided to take a trip to Lake Tahoe. It is about and hour and half away so not to bad of a drive and it is a very pretty drive through the mountains. We got there friday night and we hung out in the hotel and walked around the streets and went to the shops. It was a beautiful night, kind of chilly but still fun. We stayed in a hotel right by the ski resort Heavenly. Lucky for us it is in between seasons so it wasn't to crowded. On Saturday we woke and went exploring. We drove around the little town then we decided to rent bikes and ride around the lake. (not the whole lake I am not the ambitious) It was so fun. It was so pretty. There was a lot to see and it was an easy bike ride. Tyler was complaining that I was to slow but I was just enjoying the scenery. lol! He forgets everything is not a race for me. After the bike ride we headed home. It was a good weekend. Oh did I mention on Saturday the boys(elders) called us to see when we were coming home. They missed us. . . how sweet!
