Trip to see the Fam-Damly!

Tyler had to go to meetings in Scottsdale so I got to go along. It was so fun to hang out with family. You can tell by the pictures which kids I spent the most time with. Ivy is so cute and hated me for the most part. When I first saw her she looked at me and started bawling. It was so sad. Eventually she got used to me and stopped crying when I looked at her. When I would look at her she would act bashful and put her head down. It was so funny! What a sweet little tiny girl. It was so cute to watch her walk.
When Rachel picked me up from the airport she had both Cj and Ivy. Cj stayed home from school because he was sick. When I got in the car he was laughing and being silly so I asked him how is was feeling and he stopped smiling and said " Not Dood" and then started laughing. Such a funny kid. He is crazy! So for the rest of the week he and Raymond would try and act sick so they could stay home. But it never worked. lol! They are such funny kids. Always good entertainment. I don't know how Rachel keeps up with all of them.
When Tyler got done with his meetings on Thursday we picked him up and he got to play with the kids for a little while then we headed up to SJ for a couple of days to see the rest of the family. It was a good trip except for the terrible wind and the fact that we woke up to snow. Seriously it is APRIL!. We need the moisture but can it not come in the form of rain. I AM SO READY FOR SUMMER!!
On Saturday we headed back to Mesa and got to hang out at Ike's house. I was pretty proud that we got to see all of the family that lives in AZ. It isn't as easy at looks to see that many people!
Thank you Rachel for all the maternity clothes. Tyler has already been trying them out. And thanks to everyone that drove us around and let us stay out their houses. I have now declared that next time we go we are renting a car. It will make it a little easier. I hate feeling like we are putting people out. Plus we can be in more control of what we do. I am sure they all love chauffeuring us around! lol!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY IVY JANE!

I can't believe she is already 1. Man time flies, it seems like yesterday I was getting the phone call that she was finally here. I can't wait to see her in a couple days!
P.S. After I got that happy phone call that Ivy was born I got the phone call from Tyler to go and pick him up because he just totaled my car. Tyler hates that I can remember this date so well!

You know your emotional when...

you go to a hockey game and you cry during the National Anthem! Yep, that would be me. We went to a hockey game yesterday and they had a moment of silence for the police officers that died in Oakland, then they had a San Jose police officer place the National Anthem on his trumpet and then the crowd started humming along. It was so cool. I didn't full out cry, my eyes just watered. It was sounded so cool! Other then that the rest of the hockey game was fun! The Sharks were playing the Colorado Avalanche and it was a good game. Not to much fighting or hitting which I hear isn't normal for a hockey game, but I didn't mind. I am hoping that it was my last hockey game for a really long time. Now it is baseball season!!! We are already planning when the Rockies are coming to the area so we can go support!!
Other then that we are doing good. Tyler is loving his job and is staying busy which is a blessing. We are kind of looking into buying a house. It would be really nice to have more space for when the baby comes. I had the last 2 weeks off from work but I finally go back today! HOORAY! I am getting pretty bored at home! I am sure the kids aren't as excited as me because they have been home with their dad. But no worries we will still have fun!
A week from Tuesday we are headed to AZ!!!! Tyler has meetings there on Tues, Wed, and Thursday, so it gave the excuse to go home! Then on Thursday night we are going to go to SJ to see the rest of the family! I am so excited to go home and see everyone!
Well I think that is all for now! I was just sitting here bored so I figured I could blog a little bit!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Pretty much I have OCD like my mom. I made so much food. Jessi and I went to the store and got some food and we made it all. Brownies, cookies, and cupcakes. Mind you there was only five of us. lol! We had potatoes and chicken for dinner with broccoli and cheese, ant on a log( celery with peanut butter and raisins), and then all the deserts. It was such a fun evening. GOT TO LOVE ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

Weekend with the Kathinator!

My good friend Kathryn came to visit us this last weekend for her spring break. I am so glad the rain left and we had such beautiful weather minus the wind at the beach. Felt like we were in St. Johns. When she left Minnesota it was like negative 10 degrees. So glad I live here!
She flew in on Wednesday evening and we went and ate at In & Out Burger. Which we all loved! Then on Thursday we wend and did a little drive around the area and then went to a couple wineries. They are always so pretty and so much fun. She isn't really a wine drinker so she enjoyed learning about the wine and why people smell it and swish it around their glasses. When you visit California it is always fun to see the wineries.





On Friday we went to San Fransisco. Jessi joined us and it was a lot of fun. It was kind of chilly but it was clear skies so it was a beautiful day!We have visited San Fran quite a few times but this was the first time we drove down the world crookedest road. It was pretty fun. We look at it every time but this was the first time to actually drive on it. Overall I think we had a pretty good time. P.S. I am wearing 2 sweatshirts so I am not really that big and Tyler was the camera man and I forgot to take a picture of him. OOPS!





Friday evening we went over to Carly and Jessi's to play a little Rock Band. Kathryn had never played. It was funny watching everyone's facial expressions!





Saturday we had planned on going to the beach in Santa Cruz because Kathryn had never seen the ocean. We had good intentions on having a fire and roast hot dogs and marshmallows. We got to the beach and set up camp then the wind came. It was horrible. I was glad that we at least got to see the ocean and she took some pretty picture but we decided against eating there. I was so full of sand. Not a fun feeling. So we went to and ate in Santa Cruz and then headed home. Later that evening we went to Carly's and made a fire in our little grill and had smores. It was a lot of fun. Sorry about the wind Kathryn!





She flew out at the butt crack of dawn on Sunday morning. It was such a fun visit. She is so easy to have around. Good thing Tyler was there because I would get so tired and I felt like I was getting sick so I would have to take naps and Tyler would entertain. Sorry Kathryn, I know he can be a little crazy sometimes. lol! Thanks so much for coming!

Doc visit!

We had another appointment and it was so cool! We had an ultrasound and it actually looked like a baby in my tummy. He was sleeping but we could see his little legs and his face and see his heart beating. It made it feel much more real to me! I am going to be a mommy! Our doctor said he is growing and everything is going good! Our next appointment is April 8th! We will have another ultrasound which if we were going to find out what we are having they could tell us then but since we are keeping it a secret they are going to check to make sure everything is growing and healthy! Cant wait to see how much he has grown!

P.S. I am still going strong with my no soda for lent!

Karissa's Wedding in Colorado!

Colorado was BEAUTIFUL as usual. When we arrived there it was snowing but the rest of the time is was so nice. Ronnie and I were even able to go on a walk and I actually got hot! The wedding was so nice. The bride looked beautiful and they actually had a bagpiper. It was pretty cool. The reception was so nice. The food was amazing and the little girls and I danced the night away. It was so fun to see everyone and watch the kids swim and just to get out of California for a few days!
