On Wednesday morning we woke up and went and picked up Mimi and Snakes from the airport so they could help up pack up and move to Reno. Snakes was so excited to meet little Ronnee. It was so cute.

Packing was such a pain in the butt. We thought we were pretty much packed but then we started loading the truck and packing the rest of the house and it got stressful. How did we get so much crap. We almost didn't think that we would fit it all in the truck but thanks to Ronnie's UPS packing skills we made it. And after 10 hours packing we headed on our way. It was 11 pm so we drove and hour and stopped for the night. The next morning we woke and drove like crazy. We stopped in Sacramento to pick up a crib and see Elder Dalton. He goes home in 20 days! Then we drove like hell to get to Reno because we had a doctors appointment for Ronnee and 1:40pm. We literally pulled into town and walked into the doctors office. I walked in nursing little Ronnee so she would be happy for the Doctor. More on the appointment in the next post.
After the doctor we went to the new apartment and started unpacking. That went a lot faster then packing it did. We were all exhausted. Thank you so much Ronnie and Terri. We would have never been able to do it without your help. I was not much help and I still was exhausted from the move. I did a little to much on the first day and suffered for a little bit but luckily recovered fast!
We still are not all the way moved in. Tyler and his mom did a ton but I need to organize things how it works for me, so it could take a little while with the little one. But Tyler it will get done I promise! He would love for it to all be done now because that is his personality but he will be lucky if I get it done in the next 2 weeks.
Thanks again Ronnie and Terri! We owe you big time.

Adventures with The Mother!
While my mom was here for 2 weeks helping us with the baby we did some site seeing. One day we went to San Francisco so she and Ronnee could have that experience. It was col and foggy but still a fun trip. Ronnee just stayed bundled up in her little sling, that she absolutely loves.
And one of the days we took a trip to the beach. We figured we should take Ronnee to the ocean before we move her far away from it. I am sure when she grows up she is going to be mad at us for taking her out of California.
We figured we better make my mom's trip a little fun. Thanks mom for all your help with the packing and most of all for the good company for those 2 weeks. It sure was fun! We need to plan a girls trip!

1 Week old!
We went to the doctor today for a week check up. When we left the hospital Ronnee weighed 7lbs 6oz and today she weighed 8lbs! My baby is an eater! She did so good with all the doctors maneuvering and she didn't pee on the scale either.
I think we are up to 4 times that she has peed or pooped or both while I am changing her diaper. It never happens to Tyler. And the other day right after I got out of the shower and all cleaned up, she pooped through her diaper and all down the front of me. SO LOVELY!
Other then all the pooping she is such a good girl. She sleeps and eats a lot and when she isn't doing one of those she is going to the bathroom.
This has been the best week of our lives and we are loving being parents. Tyler is so cute with her and she already has him wrapped around her finger. She is my little lover girl!
More pictures...
While Grandma reads I sluggle!
Yes my nails are painted!
Daddy's first time getting me dressed. Seemed like it took FOREVER! But I did look cute!
I am sure loving all this attention I am getting!

Ronnee Evalene
On Sept 14 we went to the hospital at 7:30am to be induced. Knowing that we were going to the hospital the next day to see have our baby and found out if it was a boy or girl, we did not sleep so good that night and we were up way before our alarms went off. We were so full of excitement and a little fear that we just laid there talking about it. Then finally it was time to go! We got to the hospital and got all checked in and then they hooked me up to an IV and started the Petocin. At around noon I started to feel some contractions getting stronger and at about 1:30 they were getting pretty unbearable so they gave me some medicine through my IV because I couldn't get an epidural because the anesthesiologist was in a C section. So at 3 I was able to get an epidural. I was dilated to a 3 at that time. Man I felt so much better after that. I did good for a few hours and I was slowly dilating then the pressure started. That was horrible!!! I had so much pressure and I had terrible shivers. So they gave me a little bit more medicine through my IV. Then I think around 9 or 10 I started pushing. The doctor got there around 11 and I did one big push and our little one was here! She was born at 11:16 pm and weighed 7lbs 13 oz and was 19.25in long. She has so much dark brown hair that she had to have gotten from Tyler because I had white hair!
We were so surprised that she was a girl because we had been hearing a lot that they thought we were having a boy but it was a good surprise. Tyler and I couldn't be happier. We had to send the Mother in Laws out shopping for little girl clothes because we had only had boy clothes. And there was no way I was going to let my little girl wear boy clothes! Here is her first picture with Daddy.
The new little Ortiz family!
And the other night we were watching baseball so we had to have this little baseball outfit on. She looked like a little boy so I had to put the headband on. Thanks Bailey you are a life saver, people would get her gender confused if you didn't send me those cute headbands! I need to add that the D-Backs beat the Rockies that night! She was good luck in this outfit. Poor daddy and Mimi!
I know this is just a tip of the iceberg with our new little girl but we are loving it. She is such a good sleeper like her mommy and is a good eater, also gets that from her mom! Last night she slept for 4.5 hours. I can handle that!
This week we have had my mom here and Tyler's mom here. We are so grateful for the help! Terri left home today and my mom is staying for another week to help with the baby and help us pack up all our stuff so we can move on Oct 1st.
I will add more pictures later!

She is here!
Ronnee Evalene Ortiz was born on September 14th at 11:16pm. She weighed 7lbs 13oz and was 19.25 in long! She has a full head of dark brown almost black hair, not sure where that came from! She is such a cute little thing and we are loving it. I will post pictures and write more hopefully this weekend.

All my bags are packed....
and I am being induced at 7:30 in the morning so the end is in site. And I am so absolutely completely nervous! I am keeping the positive attitude that everything is going to go smoothly but it is hard to think about the negative.
My mom got here on Saturday and she made me walk forever and then run hills! I was dying needless to say! Also my mom had me doing yoga poses and then we went to the mall and got a massage and had Ice Cream for dinner! And today my mother-in-law got here and we did some more walking and followed that with some spicy Chinese food! So now I think I am tired enough to sleep through the night as long as my nerves don't get the best of me!
So wish me luck and I will keep everyone posted on all the who, what, when!

...
My parents are in Arkansas for Haley's baptism so my mom has been sending me pictures and I thought I would share. Such cute kiddos and there pony Henry and chickens. And poor little Lincoln and his broken leg. Wish I were there to see you also!

I am home alone! Tyler went to Reno for some meetings and to find us a place to live. We are moving there at the end of the month. So this was a good opportunity to go. I was dilated to a 2 on Tuesday at our doctors appointment, so hopefully the baby will come soon! I have been having some mild contractions but nothing to crazy that makes me think that the baby will be here today. I also have a little bit of a stomach bug. So basically I have been laying around all day. I can't wait for this baby to get here so that I can sleep comfortably. I know I will have a crying baby waking me up when that time comes but at least I will be able to get comfortable easy. If I don't have my baby by my due date I am scheduled to be induced on that day. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Baby's room...

Thanks Brittany for the idea and thanks Hannah and Tyler for your help!
~Now for my reason to pay someone to paint stripes for me next time~
Time consuming
The tape was taking the paint off the walls which created more work
So hard for me to keep them straight
Hard to paint up high when 35 weeks pregnant
I am a quality over quantity person and I rushed to much so it is bothering me.
Glad that in the picture everything looks cute. When you get to close you can see all the mistakes.
So basically I have learned that just pay someone to paint for you or make sure you aren't pregnant!
It was fun doing and I learned a lot so hopefully it will be a lot easier next time.
And now that I have shown you the picture of all my hard work I can inform you that my husband has decided that we should move to Reno. There is a job opening there and it would get us out of expensive California. We are still trying to figure out all the lovely details but it is looking like we will be moving at the end of September. My baby will only be a couple weeks old if not younger depending on when he/she decides to show its face so it should be quite the adventure. Good thing my mom and his parents will be here around that time to help us pack everything up and hopefully help us drive there. So with that on my mind now I am a little stressed out but I know everything will work out!

The Haban Family!
For those who don't already know, Kameron Haban lost his battle with Lupus this morning. He has touched the lives of so many with his huge smile and genuine kindness, and will be missed by so many! Jami has also touched many with her amazing courage and faith throughout their ordeal. Whether you know them or not, please keep Jami and 2 1/2 year old son Kason in your prayers.
This sweet family is in need of emotional, spiritual and physical support. Kameron spent more than the last month of his life in the ICU. We are all blessed with an opportunity to help. Yesterday a bank account was opened for them. Anyone can go to any Bank of America and make a donation to the account under JamiLynn Haban for the benefit of Kameron Haban. You can also make an online donation at paypal.com by sending it to habanfundraiser@gmail.com
Jami did an amazing job of updating everyone on her blog kamandjami.blogspot.com if you would like to read more about their experience.
Please help us lend support to the Haban family during this time! Please help spread the word of how to make a donation to those who you know will want to help.

36 week doc visit!
I promise I will get caught up tom. Okay I will do this one before the reunion one since that one is going to take me forever.
Well the doctor went really good. We started our weekly appointments and I am starting to get checked down there. Not the most pleasant thing. Tyler thought it was strange that she held a conversation with me while checking me. He said he could never do that. So she checked me and said that I am at 1 cm and it is soft but still long. I think I understand most of that but all I know for sure is that this baby will be here in the next 3 or 4 weeks! So crazy it is almost time. I am so ready and excited. I think that I have everything that we will need for this little one but I will never know until the time comes.
Tyler is in San Antonio, Texas this week until Saturday night so the baby cant come until then because I am not sure it is a great idea to have to drive myself to the hospital. One of the joys of not living near family. My mother gets here the 12th of Sept so we are hoping that the baby waits until then to show its cute little face. And the weekend after my due date my in-laws are coming so we are hoping it comes before that date so that they can see the baby also. So if you are listening baby follow those instructions.
We go to the doctor again on Tuesday the 25th!

Isaacson Family Reunion!
My mom and dad were in charge of the Isaacson Family Reunion this year! So you can imagine that it was AWESOME! My mom and my sisters did an awesome job! It was so much fun and everyone had a good time. They put so much work into everything and it definitely showed. I think we had 108 out of 119 people show up. Which is as awesome turnout.
We had the reunion at the PERA. It is such a fun area for the kids to run around and get into to trouble. Except for the terrible wind everything went great.
My mom divided everyone into teams at the start of the reunion so throughout the whole reunion you played games against other teams to earn points. Most of the men played a lot of horseshoes, I never made it that far away from the food. And the kids enjoyed tug of war, board games, ping pong, and whatever they could find. When they weren't playing competition games they were catching lizards and exploring. It was so fun to see them all playing. That is mostly what I did, watched the kids and tried to help out as much as possible. One of the games that they played that I wish I had some pictures of was Sock wrestling. Two players around the same size put socks on and then they wrestled and tried to get the other persons socks off. It was very entertaining!
There were always yummy cookies and snacks to veg out on and there was plenty of that going on. And my mom made some fantastic meals. Which is definitely an art to feed that many people and have know one complain about the food! Thanks mom!
In the evenings we had little talent shows. It was so fun to hear and see peoples talents. One night they had Austin dress up as Hannah Montana and all the kids danced. The kids had a blast!
Most of these pictures were taken by my little friend Raymond!

On Friday night we rented the pool. It was so fun. The adults played keep away and the rest of us just tried to stay out of the way! I only got a couple pictures of the swimming because I was in the pool and they were of the 2 little ones that didn't enjoy the swimming as much as the rest!

On Saturday we took family pictures and then we had the main event! Notice the Raymond and Lorraine children are wearing referee shirts. Such a funny idea mom! I can't wait to see the HUGE group picture!

So following the pictures my mom and dad put together a scavenger hunt for all the teams to do. Note I was on the Red team! THE WINNING TEAM! (not because we finished first but because we managed to do a good deed for another team along the way) My dad came up with some places and people for us to find and take pictures of. It was so fun and we learned so much along the way. I wish I had gotten a copy of all the questions. They included question like, where Aunt Sharon was baptized (the little rezi)where Uncle Kenny was born (the MVD used to be a hospital) where the Isaacson homestead is, someone named after Grandma's dad ( Caleb Parley) and there were quite a few more I just have a bad memory. It was fun to go to the cemetery and learn about some of the people there that are related.
So they gave us the list and we all jumped in cars and headed into town to find all the answers. I am sure it was very entertaining for people that had no clue what we were doing. The town got invaded by people in red shirts snapping pictures of random things. At one point we stopped at circle K and invaded the store. It was quite funny. Here are a few pictures that my team took. Thanks Joe for driving us! Our team was awesome.

After the scavenger we ate some more then Mickey put together the coolest slide show of past reunions and of Grandma and Grandpa that brought most of us to tears. It was so cool and she did an amazing job. All those late nights sure paid off! Then the night ended with some awesome fireworks, thanks to Joe.
This reunion was a huge success and I am sure we all learned so much about our heritage. And what a great heritage that is! Thanks mom, dad, Rachel, and Mickey!
Here are few more pictures of the family from our weekend at home. It was so fun to see my Arkansas kids and see how grown up they are. I have the best and cutest nieces and nephews.

I hope I remembered to post everything that I wanted to about the reunion. That will teach me to put it off so long. I can't wait until the next reunion! It was so fun seeing all the family. And this year 3 of us were pregnant so next reunion there will be even more!
