Backyard and Visit from the boys

Are yard is nearly finished thanks to help of my dad! My dad, Sam, and Grant got to Reno on Saturday afternoon. My dad napped and the boys got there energy out by playing pool and riding bikes.

 

On Sunday we went to Pyramid Lake and figured out what we were going to do to the yard…

 

Bright and early Monday morning we got started digging the trenches and playing in the dirt…

 

Then came the pipes and sprinklers…

Then we went to a baseball game! GO ACES!!!

Tuesday morning we did some more work on the sprinklers and got them finished up and covered!

Then on Wednesday we laid the sod!! I took the baby in for a nap and fell asleep and I woke up to this…

Thank you so so much guys for all your help especially dad. We would have never been able to do it without you. I wish I could have helped more but the little miss was a super sick. And to quote my dad “ It is hard to get a lot done with a baby.”

And I forgot to add that we went Go-Kart riding and goofy golfing! So much fun! The best part was when Grant rammed into the back of everyone as they were parking because he didn’t know how to use the brake. LOl!

San Jose

For Memorial Day we took a trip to San Jose. It was so fun to see friends and enjoy the beautiful weather!! Of course we found a silly festival to go to. This one was the Mushroom Festival. It was a lot of fun!

 

We got to see Little Taylor. She was born like 10 days before Ronnee and her mom and I walked together while pregnant. It was so fun to see them because Taylor was born at 6 lb 6 oz and R was at 7lbs 13 oz, so R was so much bigger then her. But now  Taylor is like 4 lbs bigger then Ronnee!  She is so cute and they seemed to like each other! So fun to watch our girls grow!

Drama Queen…

She is a little bit of a drama queen! But we love her. How could you not love that little snot nose pouty face!

Baby girl is 8 months...

Crazy how fast time flies when you are having fun. Lucky for us we go to a mommy’s group so I can weigh her every week. So at 8 months my little girl is 14.13lbs. She lost a little but we were sick so I am not to worried plus she is constantly moving. She is getting the crawling down and follows me everywhere. She still uses her toes and hands but she gets around fast and really well! Her newest thing is pulling herself up on everything. She was crawling to the kitchen and the next thing I knew she was standing up next to daddy’s briefcase, then she fell and bumped her head. So let the bumps and bruises begin! Before I know she will be walking and that is scary!

Yard....

Today it snowed… but we did plant some flowers a couple weeks ago and I hope they survive! I just want to say how fun it is to have have a yard and a place to plant flowers! In a couple weeks I will be posting more pics because we will be putting grass in but for now this is what we have.

TallGuy's wedding...

One of the boys that lived next to us while we lived in Sacramento got married last weekend in California so we got to go the reception. It was so beautiful there and they are so cute and happy! It was so fun to see Dalton and meet his fiancé. They are getting married in June so we will get to see them again soon. Here are a few pictures…. they had there reception in the hills and it was a beautiful sunset!

Arizona...

My mom picked us up in Reno and we headed to AZ sooner then we planned because the wind was crazy and interstates were being closed so we said goodbye to Tyler and his family and hit the road!!! We stopped in Vegas and stayed at an Aunts house and then hit the road again at 4 in the morning and got to SJ right before I40 got shut down! Lucky for us my mom is an early bird!

We had such a fun long visit in SJ. The weather was crazy. It went from this…

I got to see Hannah go to her Junior Prom and she looked BEAUTIFUL!!

It was a fun trip but ended in us getting sick and puking all over Mickey’s bed and not keeping anything in our tummy’s! I wish I would have gotten more pics of the rest of the kids. They had so much fun with Baby Ronnee and she sure misses all the attention she got!

We are now suffering from abandonment issues and being spoiled rotten!

Visit from the Ortiz Family

Our weekend was filled with shopping, walking, Baseball and playing with the baby!

We had a fun visit and Ronnee was spoiled to death!! Thank you so much for coming and for all of your help!

My mom overlapped their visit and then we headed to SJ!!
