Cousins Camp

My mom started a new tradition of doing a Cousin’s Camp! The kids had so much fun and I am sure can’t wait for next year so they can do it again!

My mom is amazing and I am not sure where she gets all her energy.

Monday they started the day by painting hats for them to wear.

It was so fun to watch the older kids help with the younger ones. I must say I have some of the sweetest Nephews and Nieces!

Than they sang songs with Grandma while the she played the guitar! Probably one of the kids favorite things to do!

After a little singing they loaded up in the cars and with the help of Uncle Josh they took a trip to the cemetery to see the graves of some of our relatives!

Later that day we went to the park and played before going to family swim!

Tuesday morning started with a hike up Rattlesnake hill. The kids had a good time hiking and finding and carrying rocks! Slade carried a rock that was over 10 lbs pretty much the whole way. These kids have so much energy!

After the hike and breakfast they sang some more songs with Grandma and her guitar!

They then painted  shirts and decorated plates!

For some reason I didnt get a picture of Cutler and Ashlyn with a cute shirt on.

That night they made smores by the fire and played some Crockett(sp) and at some point they colored their faces!

Wednesday morning my mom loaded up 8 of the kids including little Ashlyn and took them to the Petrified Forest and to the Snowflake temple. They took Hannah’s camera so I need to get some of those pics.  They all survived even my mom. I am not sure I would have with that many kids!

At some point I got these cute pics…

All these kids had so much fun and they get along so well! It is so fun watching these kids interact and grow together!

1356a Not sure why I didn’t remember to get the 2 little ones in the pic so this is going to have to do!

Next year is going to be so much fun. There will be 3 more babies to add to this cute bunch!

After swimming that day we went to the Rodeo to watch Sam, Albert, and Jake do the Wild Cow Milking and Cow Riding in the Senior Rodeo.

1019 1021 Sam got on the cow like 3 or 4 times before he actually stayed on.

Friday night was the Campfire circle which was a lot of fun as usual but no pics. And the Alumni Soccer game and the family dance and I decided to skip both of them since the kids were tired and Cutler and I were still sick!

Saturday morning was the Run that Rachel was in charge of so I decided to help instead of run. The tummy was not right and I was lazy!  But Mick, Hannah, and my mom ran of course! And a few of the kids did the mile run!

A little later we headed back down into town for the parade!

1175 1179 1182 1183

The highlight was the candy and seeing Grandma!

The Junior Rodeo was on Saturday and I did go for a little bit but missed most of it because I felt a nap was a huge necessity for this mama and her little kids! Sam did a good job and won the roping! He is getting really good at that cowboy stuff and sure loves it!

Sunday after church we took some family pics since it is a rare occasion for us all to get together!(we were missing Cameron and Tyler)

Not sure when these pics were taken but here are some Random pics from the trip that I want to be on the blog!
