Cereal for the little man!

I was talking to a friend about when to start baby food and so it got the idea in my head so I decided to start it right then! He hates it and makes a gagging noise. I figured he wouldn’t like the cereal because it taste like crap but he didn’t even like the fresh pumpkin or the pumpkin applesauce.  Every time I go to give him a bite he would flap his arms and then dry heave! lol  I gave him the spoon even and he would put it in his mouth and take it out and gag but then put it back in. Haha Funny boy. And of course when I was feeding Cutler Ronnee needed to try. She had one bite and was done!

I am trying to try it once a day and hope that he will eventually start liking it! I plan on trying Sweet potatoes next!

Kids

Now that Cutler is getting older Ronnee is finding him more and more fun! She tells me that he is her Best Friend! She loves that when she talks to him he smiles at her and pulls on her!  She loves to build forts around them and lay there with him.

It is funny how she worries about him and wants to be with him more and more. Whenever Cutler smiles at her she tells me “he loves me.”  And he really does. Any time he hears her voice he looks for her. These 2 are going to be best friends! I am sure she cant wait for him to crawl and walk but I know I can! He gets into enough stuff just being able to roll around from room to room.

Ronnee has been super funny lately. She still doesn’t like to wear a swimsuit top but when we are just here at home she prefers to just go naked in the pool.

Enjoy it while you can little girl!

She is so Tyler’s child and talks to everyone. She always asks them what their name is and what are they doing. I am trying to change it to how are you doing but she prefers to be nosey and wants to know what they are doing. Probably wants to check if is something more fun then what she is doing so she can join them!

At the grocery store the other day a lady came up to talk to her because she had just talked to Cutler. And she asked Ronnee if she smiled had a pretty smile and Ronnee smiles at her and grabs the ladies face and kisses her!  No concept of personal space. Good thing the lady didn’t mind. But then Ronnee kept asking me if she could kiss her again. HAHA Yeah that is not something her mom would do but I wouldn’t put it pass Tyler.

The other day she begged and begged to take the dogs for a walk, so we attempted… they did pretty good but then Ronnee would drop the leash and I would have to run catch them. It was a nice short walk and I was glad we didn’t see anything that grabbed there attention and would cause them to drag Ronnee down the street!

I am not sure what I would do without these 2 little kids to keep me entertained. Most days I try to just laugh with them when they do things that make me want to cry! So crazy that Ronnee is almost 3!

My Flowers

I love love flowers and hope to one day have a beautiful garden like my mom and my in-laws! But for now I will just get the pretty random flowers that we happen to keep alive and help make my yard happy!

July 27 we start the drive home

It worked out great that my mom had a cousin getting married in Vegas the same weekend that I planned on heading home. So Friday my mom, Rachel, Aneron , and Hannah took us to Vegas. We stayed in a Hotel that night and I made the mistake of telling Ronnee that we were going to pick up her daddy so anytime we went out of the room she would ask where he was and when we were in the room she would watch out the window. So Saturday morning when we left the family to head to the airport to get Tyler, Ronnee looked up at me and said “we better find my daddy!”  She was so ready to see him!  My mom and the girls went shopping and to the wedding and we picked up Tyler and headed to the Listman’s house where we were going to hang out for the day and night and then head home Sunday.  

While we were at the Listman’s we got to go swimming in their pool. Cutler loves the water and Ronnee loved playing with Carly!

When we weren’t in the pool Ronnee was playing with dogs. We always have such a fun time with the Listmans and eat so good!  It is so nice to have a place to spot at to break up the long drive.

We left Sunday around 11am and Cutler cried the first hour and Ronnee joined him so I decided to join in on the crying. I am sure Tyler was ready to send us back to AZ! But we made it home finally and we were so happy to be out of the car!

We had a good visit except for the sickness! A big thanks to everyone that helped me out with the kids and made our trip so fun!

4 months for Cutler

So crazy how fast this little boy is growing up. At 4 months he has mastered the art of rolling over. He started doing this in Colorado and continued mastering it in Arizona! He knows he needs to get moving because his big sis thinks that if he is laying around she can use him as her horse! He is a mover and is always hitting his head on the corners of  everything. I put him down in the living room and when he gets bored he rolls into the kitchen.  Ronnee is really starting to enjoy him. Probably because he pulls her hair and smiles and laughs at her. He is no longer boring to her!

He weighs 13.13lbs and is 25.5 in tall!
