Birthday girls week!

For the past 2 years Mimi and Snakes have been here for Ronnee’s birthday week so you know she had a fun week of being spoiled. Well this year they couldn’t make it so we made sure it was busy and fun just to keep up the tradition of a fun birthday week! 

Saturday morning Tyler and a couple friends went hiking and fishing so Brandy and Haleigh spent the night with us Friday night so we could hang out while the boys were gone. We got up early Saturday morning and drove over to the Hot Air Balloons. We didnt get up quite as early as the previous years so we just parked on the street and let the girls sit in the back of the car and watch the balloons!

After we went to Mcdonald’s for some breakfast and to play in the play area!

And after that we went to the park to run of some more energy so we could go home and nap!

Sunday we watched football with dad so that was boring for her so she played in my makeup…

Monday we took a trip the Jump House. Forgot my camera that day but she had a lot of fun and I got a workout!

Tuesday we painted and then went to Tristen’s house to play.

Wednesday morning she played Princess with Maggie…

Yes you read that right and saw that right. My little horse/dog girl came running into me all dressed up and told me she was a princess! My dreams came true! lol Jk shortly after she stripped down and started barking!

Wednesday evening we met up with some friends at the Jump House again!

And after this we went to the park and ate dinner and played! Can you tell our husbands were all out of town and we wanted the kids to sleep! 

Thursday we went to Storytime at the Library and then to the park to play!

That evening we got to go pick up Daddy at the airport! She kept asking me how her daddy was going to get home and that she needed to find him! When we got to the airport she kept saying “I can’t believe it!”  She was beyond excited to see him! Her dad is much nicer then her mommy!

~Ronnee funny~ While we were waiting at the airport (Tyler’s flight was delayed) I found a rocking chair to nurse Cutler in. And I am trying to nurse and Ronnee is pushing my chair, I turned around and said Ronnee and she says, “What am I driving you Crazy!”  She was in fact driving me crazy and you can tell I tell her that often!

When we got home from the airport we let her open her present from Mimi and Snakes!

She is spoiled rotten! She said everything was “her favorite!”

Birthday Morning!!! 

She slepted in until nearly 9am and when she woke up she requested to have pizza for breakfast!

I was watching a couple of her friends for the day so they played and played and played all morning! While they played I got Cutler to nap and then I went to work on making this beauty…

Thank you Rachel for telling me about and thank you pinterest for the idea. And Ronnee could tell it was a horse so that is all that mattered!  I made some Pumpkin Spice cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and some chocolate ones! They tasted so so good!

That night we had some friends over for a BBQ and cake! Nothing to crazy but it was just nice to have everyone over!

Last of all we went to see Finding Nemo in 3d!

She loved when everyone sang to her! I think overall she had a pretty good birthday week! So crazy that she is already 3 and no longer a baby! She is like a little person now and talks and knows way to much!   We sure love this sweet little horse loving girl!

Horses Rule!

That pretty much sums up our long weekend along with a lot of eating at the Ribfest… our friends had connection and got us into the VIP section and we had all you could eat ribs and ice cream and drink! We left very full and very happy!

 
And as we walked out of the Ribfest we saw some police horses which started us on our horse weekend.
Saturday we took a drive up to the Wild Horse area and got to just look at all the horses thru the fence since we missed it being open by 30 minutes. But the girls still loved seeing all the horses!

Then Sunday morning we get a text from the neighbor saying they were going to take their little girl to go ride a pony up in Truckee and asked if we wanted to go. And since she has been begging to ride a horse for weeks we jumped on it!  
At first she didn’t want to put on the helmet but once she saw Madeline get on her pony she hurried and put hers on!  She loved every second of it! I got to just lead her around a on a trail and she just talked non stop about how much she loved her horse “Taffy.”  The smile on her face was the best.

And this was the sad face that we got when we took her off of the horse….

She kept telling me that she missed Taffy! It was so sad and cute! Then she refused to take off the helmet because she thought we were going to take her back! 
It was so worth the money to listen to her go on and on about how she loved her horse! She was in her heaven and I am so glad they invited us along!

5 months for Cutler!

This little boy is crazy busy! Moving all over the place and he loves getting his sisters things all ready! Ronnee isn’t a huge fan of him playing with her horses but we are working on that! If he sees something he wants he will find a way to get it. It moves around like an inch worm and reaches for things.  While we were camping he started pulling his knees underneath him. He is so ready to crawl!  

He is a happy little guy and smiles and talks to everyone. He likes to play with his sister. He thinks she is hilarious! He loves to be wherever she is so he can watch her and bother her! These 2 are going to be a lot of fun as they grow older!

Sleeping for Cutler is still fun. We can count on one hand how times he has actually only woken up  once to eat in the night. Most of the time it is 2 or 3 and we still have times where it is every 2 hours! Yes I am a tired Mama! He still wants to go to bed around 7:30pm and wakes up around 6:30am for the day. And goes to nap around 9am. The rest of his naps are non consistent or non existent. Wish we could get a good schedule for this boy that involved taking a nap when his sister does! 

The last few days he has been so grumpy so I hope that he is teething so there is an excuse for this nonsense!

We sure love this little boy even with the sleep issues! He keeps us all entertained and it is so fun watching him figure out things!

He is 14lbs 15oz and 26in tall! Getting so big way to fast!

Camping weekend for Tyler's Birthday!

Tyler turned 29 on Thursday and we hit the road to go camping! All he wanted for his birthday was to go camping and fishing. He is sure is easy to please!

We went camping on the June Lake loop up by Mammoth, California. It was so beautiful up there!  The weather was great and the company was even better. We went with the Adams family and the Fedewas!  We got to the campsite and of course right across the road from us were about 50 or more mules and horses! The kids were beyond happy! Made us mothers  a little nervous because we were afraid the kids would venture on their own to go see them.  Lucky for us they didn’t but they begged every second to go and see them. We wanted to take them for a ride but they didn’t allow kids under the age of 6 to ride. So sad! They were so disappointed because petting them just wasn’t enough for them!

The kids had a blast at night wearing the headlamps and chasing each other around!

Seth and Jeri brought their little canoe thing and the kids got to float around in it!

We went for a little hike one morning to try and get to the bottom of the waterfall but couldn’t get to it. But it was still a fun little hike for the kids!

The men rented a boat to go fishing in and took the kids for little rides. For as spunky and crazy and Ronnee is she is a little scaredy cat. She had fun but had to be grabbing Tyler and would whine if he let go!

Callie is so sweet and would hold Ronnee when Tyler couldn’t. It is no wonder why she loves her so much!

Overall camping was really fun even though they only caught 1 fish! Tyler was really mad about that but at least he was out fishing! I told Tyler that I dont want to go camping ever again because it is so not relaxing for the mom’s. We still had to cook and clean and chase the kids while the men were off fishing! I am used to having more help at home! Tyler is like a little kid in a candy store when he gets in the mountains. He forgets about his family and just goes into his own world. 

Oh and one time when Ty was gone the dogs broke their rope and luckily I was there to save them from the angry man walking bye. I am so glad our dogs are nice so they didn’t do anything but sniff them. But I am sure it was a little scary for the guy because they are big dogs! 

Glad we are home but I am glad we went. The kids and the men had a lot of fun and I guess that was the point of going! 

Sunday night when we got home Cutler and I went to bed before 7:30pm and I have spent the last 2 days doing laundry and I still have to go through the camping boxes. So glad I will not be going camping again anytime soon if ever! lol
