We went up to Squaw Valley Ski Resort for some Octoberfest fun! The girls had a good time dancing to the music and running around. There were dogs there then kids so they were in heaven! The men had fun being men and we mom’s watched the kids! The met the Fedewa’s and the Moll’s there. They had a brat toss and lots of other games to entertain us!
It was a really fun time and tired the kids out!!
So crazy how fast he is growing up! He is a big boy… 16.6 lbs and 28in tall! Exactly what Ronnee was at 1 year old! He is our big boy and his sis is our little girl! He is going to catch her soon and she is going to get what is coming to her! lol Just teasing. She is really good with him and no longer sits on him and loves to cheer him up when we are in the car. He is her best friend and she often call him her “baby son!'’
~ He got his first tooth right at 6 month and the 2nd one the next day!
~ He army crawls everywhere and will soon be crawling!
~ He loves food and all food! So opposite of his sister!
~ He is the happiest kid and so easy going!
~ He starting sitting up but is still wobbly.
We are loving this stage of his life! He is so easy going and just hangs out and plays and doesn’t need much attention. He follows Ronnee around and watches her every move and cant wait to be big like she is! She loves it! Sleep is still a little crazy but we are managing!
We decided to make a day trip up to Lake Tahoe to play in the sand and Brandy and Haleigh got to join us! It was 80 degrees and not very crowded so it was perfect! I did forget how hard it is to have a crawling little one at the beach. He ate some dirt and wouldn’t stay where I put him, so it was so nice to have Brandy and Haleigh there to entertain Ronnee!
The girls had a good time rolling in the sand and then running into the lake to rinse off. And Cutler loved having his feet in the water and eating dirt!
Yes swimsuit tops are over rated and we had sand in places one should never have sand!
This little girl of mine is something special and I wouldn’t have it any other way! She may give me a run for my money most days but she is so sweet and has the best manners. She is so polite and always makes sure her friends have whatever she has. If she wants a gogurt she gets one for everyone that is at the house. She makes sure everyone has a horse for both of their hands just like she does! She is so good about using please and thank you and that helps me make sure that I use them also. She talks to everyone and can come off as nosy but she is learning so much and wants to know what everyone and everything is doing. Cracks me up! She is her father’s child!
When is comes to her little brother she just cant get enough. She doesn’t like him to touch her stuff but if she wakes up and sees him she is so happy. She is not normally that happy when she wakes up but he changes her frown upside down in a matter of seconds! She tells me that he loves her and he is her best friend in the whole world! It is so sweet to watch them interact. He just stares at her and laughs. In the car they hold hands and she talks to him. She is the best big sister! She loves to tease me and say that Cutler is her Son! haha
Her imagination is getting so big! She plays house with her friends and normally one is the dog and one is the person. Pretty cute to listen to. And when she is alone she plays house with her horses. There is a mommy horse a daddy horse and normally a brother. Her new phrase is “pretty awesome.” She opened a present from a friend and she said “mom this is pretty awesome!” And yesterday in the bath she was talking to her horses and said “Son you are pretty awesome!” This is such a fun age and I hope I am a good enough mom to help this sweet little girl grow up to be a “PRETTY AWESOME” adult!
Not that all being said it was really hard to get her to cooperate to take pictures. She was in a mood and wouldn’t smile for the first little bit but her daddy came along and saved the day!

So fun watching these 2 grow up together! Cracks me up that they still enjoy riding the toys together!
