Broncos Football/Goodbye Party in January!

Pics from January that I never posted about!

We had a little party mid-packing to watch the Broncos play in the play-offs. To bad they lost but it was sure a fun party!

001 008 013 Seth dressed up as a Raven! BRAT!  And the kids were playing so good!

I should mention that mid party we had people come look at our house! We must have not scared them will all the people and the mess because they ended up being our renters!

A few days before we moved our friends thru a little goodbye party for us. So hard to say goodbye to such awesome friends. Not a day goes by where I dont miss them!

Whoever made the cake spelled “family” wrong. lol

Wish we could go back to Reno for a visit once a month just so we could see everyone and have a fun dance party!

Albuquerque is keeping entertained!

We have found 3 parks within walking distance of our house! The kids are loving our evening walks to the park when the weather permits. One day I didn’t go and Ronnee came home and told me “The Park said it missed you!”

We got our dogs back from Colorado! I went to Az for a friends Bridal Shower and Bachelorette Party and Tyler took the kids to Colorado to pick of the dogs!   It was my first weekend away with no kids and it was so fun! I did miss the kids but it was so fun to have some me time!

Ronnee plays outside all day with her dogs! She is so happy to have her best friends back! The other day she came in and told me that Tulo said “I want to come inside.” She even changed the tone of her voice! haha She cracks me up!   When the dogs get in trouble she is so quick to jump on their side and defend them. She is constantly lecturing Tyler  “to not be mean to her dogs! She loves them and they are her favorite!”  She tells me all the time that she loves Tulo and Dinger and not me! BRAT!

She has been throwing some major temper tantrums lately which resulted in her losing her horses and animals!   She finally got them back after 5 days and now whenever Cutler is doing something bad she says to take his toys away! hahaha  Let’s hope she learned something from losing them!

Aside from her being a huge brat she has been saying some really cute and funny things.  Whenever I am doing something for her like helping her in the bathroom or getting her a snack she always tells me “Your a great Mom!”  or “Your the best!”   The other day I was bathing her and I had to leave and save Cutler because he locked himself in the dark bathroom and when I got back to her and told her what I was doing she said “ You are a Super Hero!’’  lol And when I was getting her dressed after the bath she said “ A Super Hero is getting me dressed!”  It are these sweet moments that make it all worth it!

Cutler is getting quite the foot stomping temper! He throws a huge fit when we dont let him go outside! He could live outside with his sister! But when he gets outside he tends to get into trouble. At that hard age where he doesn’t understand consequences. He finds humor in running in the street so the front yard is off limits! Back yard he comes in covered in mud! Dogs water bowl is to tempting.  He is really good at playing alone and keeping himself busy. The toy room can keep him busy for hours!    He eats all the time. When he finishes a snack he comes grabs my hand and takes me into the kitchen and we play the guessing game of which snack he wants next. He stomps his foot if he doesn’t want it and yells “YA!” if he does!  Funny but will be nice when he can use his words!  He loves apples and cookies! He says cookie so cute! But most of the time chooses  an apple over anything!

And good news….He is completely done nursing! We survived a year!  And the best part about it is he sleeps thru the night! The first couple nights he would wake up and cry but now he stays asleep from 8:30pm to 7:30-8am!  It is so so so nice! And I just have to put him in his room and he will wine for a minute and then pass out!  Now if only his older sister could follow in his footsteps!

Tyler and I have our Sprint Triathlon this weekend and I am NERVOUS!  I will be so happy when it is over! But I am loving the fact that it is putting me out of my workout comfort level!  More on that when I finished!

SJ for Easter fun!

The whole family minus the Arkansans went to my parents house for Easter. We had so much fun coloring eggs, having a fun Easter egg hunt, eating, playing football, eating, flying kites and more eating!  It was such a fun filled weekend  we all got spoiled with all the good food and fun company!

We had way more fun then you think is possible. Everyone was so happy and it was a weekend that goes in the books for one of the most fun!

As good as it gets!  I am so blessed!

1 yr for Cutler man!

for my memory...
20.4 lbs 25%
31 in long 75%

His growing has slowed. Must be all his crazy moving!

This kid is already going to eat me out of house and home! He eats pretty much anything and will always at least try new things a couple times!  He is still nursing at night but getting close to weaning him.

He loves to play with his sister or by himself. Not a fan of the dogs because they lick him to much! He prefers to be outside. He is pro at walking and climbing!

He is trying to talk more and more. My favorite is when he says thank you after you hand him something. It is funny to us that he says “Ya” all the time but hasn’t said “no”  Goes to show how spoiled he is! lol   He does here no but not as often as his sister does. I think he is afraid of getting in trouble like Ronnee! Hope he learns for her!

He is so so serious! Not the smiley kid that Ronnee was. Dont get me wrong he does have his happy smiley moments but when he meets someone new he takes a little longer to warm up. And he will not smile on command like Ronnee was trained to! lol Hence why when I tried to take some 1 year photos of him I only got like 2 smiling ones. He smiles only when he wants to and he knew I really wanted him to so he was having none of it!

And my camera is acting up and I have yet to take it so my picture taking has slowed and my skills are not up to what they were!   Note to self: TAKE YOUR CAMERA IN TO GET FIXED!

On his birthday we had some friends driving thru and stay with us so they helped him celebrate! I got him his own little cake and he was in heaven!

We found a place to Rent!

Moved in on the 22nd of March!!!!!!

After some looking we finally found a livable place that would except our 2 big outdoor dogs! It was hardest to find a place for Tulo because of his breed but we found a place and it is perfect for us right now. The previous renters let the backyard go to crap so we dont have to worry about that even though we do plan on helping it out! The front yard needs some TLC to but with our help it will look better when we leave here!

Inside needed some TLC to and thanks to my mother and father-in-law it is now livable! They drove down from Colorado and we drove our cars and 2 horse trailers with our stuff and met here Friday morning!  Grandma Evie chased the kids the men unloaded and Mimi and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned!     It was a long weekend but now we are finally moved in!

Ronnee was beyond excited to see all her toys again! It was like Christmas in March!

So far we are really enjoying and loving how close everything is to where we are renting!

Thank you Jacob Riley and my in-laws for all your help!

Ronnee gives the Dentist a Workout!

Ronnee has had a couple cavities for a while and the dentist in Reno wanted to put her all the way under to fix them. While we were in Pueblo we got a second opinion and they said they could fix them in one visit without putting her under so we decided to do it!  By now she her cavities were worse and she had 2 more small ones. DAMN BAD ORTIZ TEETH!   So we went in and she got 2 caps, a root canal, and 2 feelings!  It was quite the experience. They tried to give her gas to relax her but it didn’t really help. They gave her the gas then they shot her with the numbing stuff then I held held her and she passed out! Well then the fun began… The dentist grabbed her from me and they strapped her to the papoose board! She was pissed from then on! It took me, 2 hygienist, and the dentist to hold her down. She wiggled her pants off and was screaming the whole hour!  She was so pissed! Anytime they would take their hands out of her mouth she would yell “ARE YOU DONE YET!” The dentist and the hygienist kept having to take breaks. They were amazed how strong and angry she was! hahaha

When they got finished and unstrapped her she came to me and was perfectly fine. She stopped crying and was ready to go home! She was just so angry to be strapped down!

She may be tiny but is all strength!

11 months for Cutler

Already 11 months and so close to 1 year old!!  He is the smartest cutest little boy. He says thank you, bye bye, hello, ronnee, mama, dada, and is constantly trying to ad more to his vocabulary. He barks at the dogs and loves watching them thru the window but hates to be licked!  He is running everywhere and loves to have someone chase him!  He still loves to go to be early  and wakes up often! Man am I ready for him to sleep thru the night!   He is always figuring out new things and constantly amazes me!    He has 7 teeth and working on 3 more which are making or a drooly snotty cranky at times kid! I am trying to start weaning him since he is a bitter!
I should mention how much he loves music and dancing!  If a song comes on the world stops and her starts dancing! He has always been so into music and dancing and it just keeps growing.  If I were to guess what my kids will be when they grow up: Ronnee will be a horse and Cutler will be a dancer! lol okay that is just what they would be as of today but we will see what tomorrow brings!

Wish I could post pictures but I am not using my computer! When I get back to AZ I will get on my computer and post some pictures!!

Our Crazy Adventure!

We are living a crazy adventure! We spent the first couple week in AZ with my family which was really nice since I wasn't quite ready to even look at the car let alone ride in it with 2 kids! I celebrated my 29th birthday!  The kids played and played and then on the 8th of February we headed to Colorado and are still here! We are having a good time but man it will be nice to get into our own house again! We are so grateful for all the help but I am ready to be done!  We will be heading to AZ on the 3rd of March I think which will be nice! Nice to get a change of scenery!
The weather here in Colorado has not been the greatest with the cold and snow! Sure wish it would warm up so we could play outside!!
The kids are loving all the attention they are recieving! They are beyond spoiled and know that Mimi will do whatever they want if they give a little cry! lol They are going to  hate when they are stuck with just me when we do finally move into our own house!  They get a little glimpse of it when Mimi is at work and I cant do everything for them!

But overall we are surviving and making the best of our situation!  Once again my husband owes me big time!

I should mention how nice it is to live close to family already because we have been able to ditch the kids a couple times and go on a couple dates!  And it is so nice to have people to watch the kids at night when Tyler is gone so I can go to the pool and do some swimming or go for bike rides! Getting any training done when Tyler was nearly impossible when I didn't have either my siblings while in Az and my in-laws while in Colorado to babysit for me!! THANK YOU!

10 months for Cutler

This little boy is trying to grow up to fast and is succeeding! He is walking everywhere now. To big for crawling!  He is starting to try and talk and say more and more! He loves the phone and makes everything a phone and just talks and talks! He really loves talking to his dad on the phone  and his face lights up when he hears any phone ring! He gets so excited and runs and grabs the phone or points to it!
He is all boy and loves to get sticks and hit things and play with cars! I still find it amazing that as such a young age boys are fascinated with wheels and can make car noises! He has already had 2 little black eyes and a bloody nose! This little boy needs a padded room!

We love you Cutler and are enjoying watching you learn and grow!

5 year Anniversary

We have seriouly been married for 5 years!! So crazy! And in the previous post I told you how we spent our 5 year Anniversary. Tyler in the car with my brothers and me cleaning and handing over the keys to our house with sick kids! So this was a memorable Anniversary! Tyler owes me big time! lol I never got a honeymoon so now he needs to take me on an awesome get away!
Kind of funny that right after we got married we moved to California and I spent what should have been a honeymoon in the car for 30+ hours with my Mother-in-law and our 5 year Anniversary was spent with my Mother-in-law in the car!  Cant wait to see what we do for our 10 year!
Our life is crazy but I wouldn't have it any other way!!

The Move 1/26/2013

So we were not getting anymore interest with our first Property Management lady so we switched to Isaacs and within 24 hours we had people come look at our house and decide they wanted to rent it!!  They actually came and looked at our house when we were have a party to watch the Broncos play. They weren't supposed to come until after but they showed up early to our house full of people and huge mess and still liked it! Never a dull moment!
They originally wanted to move in the 1st of February but it worked out best for us to get help and move the weekend of the 26th so we left and they moved in that weekend.
The twins flew in Friday morning and Jake and my dad drove thru the night and got to our house about 10am Friday morning and the packing the trucks started!  They were really fast and were done by dinner. After dinner we put all the mattresses on the floor and had a campout. My dad woke up around Midnight and they packed up the matresses and left around 1am! The kids and I finished the night on the floor and woke up to finish some cleaning and pack my car! Thank heavens for great friends that came over to help me! I owe you Jen, Chris, and Seth!! We had to have everything out by Noon so that the cleaners could come in! The cleaners were in a mad dash because the we were going to do a walk thru with the Renters at 6 which turned into 7 since they were running late!  But we eventually got done and I handed over the keys and left them to move into my house!  SO WEIRD!
The kids and I went and stayed with the Molls Saturday night! Ronnee that day was acting strange so I was worried that she was depressed since she kept saying " I never see my bed again!" She was confused by it all!  But turns up she was sick! She started running a high fever that night (103.4) and was sleeping instead of playing!  Then around 3 in the morning I wake up to Cutler puking all over us! I was hoping that it was just a fluke but not that continued all night!   Sunday morning we got out of bed super tired and headed to the airport to pick up Mimi so she could help me with the drive!
Sidenote: I had to drop off some keys for our Property Management guy and it was the strangest thing going to my house and knocking on my door and having someone else open it!! And seeing 2 dogs inside when I was told there would be only 1 dog and it would be outside! But that is a whole other story. It is such a wierd feeling having someone else in your HOME!
The drive to Vegas was long and hard.....Ronnee was still fevering but thank heavens was not puking because Cutler was doing his fair share and more! My car smelled so bad! He and puked and crapped thru all the clothes I had out for him! And on our last stop he puked all over the store and poor Mimi! Then he proceeded to cry the last hour and a half of our drive to Vegas! We were so happy to get out of the car there and get cleaned up! Did mention that the drive seat was the only seat with any leg room! POOR MIMI!!
That night I had to run to the store and get Cutler some more clothes! Monday we got up loaded the kids and headed to Flagstaff to pick up Tyler and finish the drive to SJ. That day was just as bad because the kids were still sick and going thru clothes, and the roads and weather were terrible! Just our luck! But we made it to my parents house just in time before we all got sick!  We were so so glad to make it!  So now we are at least out of Nevada! While we look for a place to rent in Albuquerque we are staying with the parents! We are so lucky for awesome Families!
