4th of July weekend in Colorado!

We got to Colorado to Celebrate the 4th of July this year! And what better way to celebrate then by going to a Rockies game!  The Rockies won so the men were happy but the best part was being able to go down onto the field to watch the Fireworks!  Tyler was beyond thrilled to touch the grass and the dirt and see how nice it was!  He and the kids were in heaven!  So fun seeing him get so happy over grass! But I guess it is a pretty big deal! The field was amazing!   And the Fireworks were awesome!  I have never seen my kids sit that still for that long but it was so amazing!  They lasted forever and went along with good fun music!   We plan on going every year they have a home game!

 

Also while we were in Colorado we went to the Cave of the Winds!

 

 And we took the kids to the Pueblo city park to ride the rides! The rides are so are a quarter or 50 cents so it is the best entertainment on the cheap!

We are always doing something and my kids are always entertaining so here are some pics what we have been up to…

Mickey and Albert are moving here this weekend so they have visited a couple times for interviews and apartment hunting! Ronnee loves when we get to babysit Lavinia and tell Mickey “we take good care of her! Cutler loves Lavinia and is learning to play nice around her! He loves to squat down by her and talk in a high voice! hahaha We are beyond excited to have them living less the 2 miles away!                                     We, I mean they spend a lot of time outside with the dogs! Occasionally I find them sitting on either Tulo or Dinger depending on who couldn’t get away the fastest!

We went to a street fair thing and played music with the trash man and I painted a horse on Ronnee’s face with lipgloss because the face painting line was to long! Thank heavens for quick thinking! lol

This last weekend was the Santa Fe Rodeo and Jake and Kennis happen to be in town (they flew to Denver from here) so we went! Cutler looked adorable and Ronnee was in heaven acting like a horse and watching the horses run really fast!  I think her favorite was the Bronc riding. She loved when the horse would buck the “mean” guys off! hahaha

My goal is to get my camera fixed this week because starting next week we will be super busy having lots of fun and I need to take lots of pics!

My kids!

A few weeks ago I was struggling as a mommy but lately my kids have been so funny and easy! Ronnee has grown up so much and is more like having a friend over. She says and does the funniest thing! She is so patient and kind to Cutler and it always amazes me. He is getting to the terrible 2's extremely early and can scream and throw a mean fit! He pulls her hair and takes everything from her and even gave her a black eye the other day and she has yet to retaliate which is so surprising.  She is an awesome big sister and that makes life so much easier!    She is such a good example to her brother! He has learned from her that his Popsicle stick goes in the trash! It cracks me up watching him do whatever she does. He has to eat what she is eating, do what she is doing, try and say what she says, and dance and sing with her! 
Cutler is talking more and more. He is getting so good at saying Thank you when he does something good and up when he wants to get up on the couch. We are working on please instead of screaming when he wants something!   He is so smart and figured out how to put the legs of the couch out at the right hieghth so that he can climb on! He is getting better at following directions and I recently learned he can open doors when he opened the door behind me and was outside naked! Glad I was out there!  
I am so lucky to be the mom of these 2 crazy, stubborn, cute as hell, energetic, funny kids! 

P.s. I broke my camera so that is why there is a lack of pictures! It fell off the bench at the park and the lense shattered! It is on my list to get fixed I just know it is going to cost some money!!

Fishing for Father's day!

For Father’s day we headed up to the mountains to go fishing. The kids had a fun time watching daddy and playing in the water and Tyler was in his heaven! 

I am so blessed to have such a good father for my kids! He is an amazing daddy!  Ronnee and Cutler are happiest when they are with him!

Ashley's wedding!

My good friend Ashley Zaitz now McDonald go married on the 8th of June! She asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding so we got to spend the whole weekend in Az to be a part of it!  She got married in beautiful Pinetop, AZ which was nice for us because my family could watch our children!   We took the kids with us to the rehearsal dinner so that they could see them but left them home for the wedding! It was a beautiful wedding and she looked gorgeous!  We were so happy we got to help them celebrate!

Also while we were home we took the kids swimming! The kids had a blast! Cutler loves the water and Ronnee loves anything she gets to do with Ivy!

He would fall under the water and then get up and smile and then do it again! No Fear!

Brooklyn's Softball Tournament!

On Friday morning I loaded up the kids bright and early and drove home to Albuquerque just to get back in the car with Tyler and the dogs and drive to Farmington to watch Brooklyn play softball!  The kids did awesome and it sure helped that Tulo and Dinger were going with us! Nothing makes Ronnee happier then having her dogs with her!  While there she thought she could just sleep in the kennel with the dogs! Of course it didn’t happen because she cant fit with the two of them! But she sure loved having them in the hotel room!

Brooklyn did an awesome job and it was so fun to be able to watch her!  This is why we wanted to move closer!

We got to take the kids swimming and learn that Cutler has no fear of water!  He would get mad when you would try and catch him.  He loves the water and his sister is so timid and takes a while to warm up to it! Kind of nice to have her like that because Cutler takes no time at all to jump in!
