Easter Weekend

We spent Easter weekend in AZ this year. My mom had her 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Orchard and on the front lawn! The kids had a blast of course! They love it there and got all kinds of candy! They had a fun time playing with cousins and running free!  Once again we are so happy to be close to family so we can spend Holidays with them and reflect on the true meaning of Easter with the whole family!
Ronnee, Cutler, and Benjamin enjoyed helping Grandma plant flowers one morning.

Potty Training Cutler vs Ronnee

Let's just say after potty training Ronnee anything would have been a walk in the park but then I got Cutler and he was like a warm day at the beach!  This kid caught on so fast!  Before we started he would pee during the night and once we started the process he never peed the bed!!! We did the pee in the bathtub like we did for Ronnee and once he saw himself pee and knew what I was talking about it clicked and he was potty trained. He didn't like the idea of being naked or peeing outside so it was undies right away!  He was so afraid to pee in his pants that he was a champ and would hold it until we got to the potty! He only had a few accidents in the first couple days but other then that he was good to go! No tears from him or mommy! I am sure he loved the fact that he had Ronnee and I cheering and dancing with him after every success! He even caught on to pooping in the potty like it was nothing!!
After Ronnee's experience I deserved this!  It just goes to show how different their personalities are! He listens and follows directions and she is one that has to figure out things on her own!
We are grateful for both personalities so that we can appreciate each of them!  If we had 2 kids that were exactly alike how would we know how awesome they each are!

Our House in Reno Sold!

Our many prayers were answered and we got an offer on our house at the end of Feb and we closed on the house on March 27th!  A young family bought it so they will fit in great in the neighborhood and we were able to make a little profit on the house so we paid off some of the debt we acquired from making the move!  What a nice feeling to have it gone!  Things were a little stressful around here and it is so nice not having to worry about that now that busy summer is close upon us!

We thought about looking to buy another house but quickly learned that the bank lied to us. We were told that it was okay for us to miss a few payments because when we would sell we were going to make money on the house and be able to pay them back in full!  Well we sold the house and payed them back in full and now we cannot buy a house without the people we are buying from signing a realtors contract. Which limits the houses you can look at and you never know if the people will do it until you are signing contracts.  We found a couple of houses that we like...one wanted us to give them all our banking info and not just trust out credit scores and out downpayment so we didn't go there. No way we are giving our person info out to regular people!  And the 2nd said they would work with us then decided after we went through all the paperwork that they didn't want to so we have since decided to wait a year so we wont have to worry about the stupid contract!

The most annoying thing is that you can forclose on a house or shortsale and get a house with a cosigner or something but we couldn't even do that! So the bank is making it seem that you will get farther in life if you do them dirty. We did things the right way and got screwed! Such a sad sad thing!

Amazing Jump!

Amazing Jump is a warehouse full of trampolines! We went 2 nights in a row because it is seriously so much fun for all ages! There are foam pics, basketball hoops, trampoline's up the wall, a dodge ball area, and kiddie area! We had so much fun! We went at night both times so it was dark inside so next time we go we will go during the day!  I didn't get a lot of pictures but the kids had a blast jumping everywhere and we adults loved that we were burning calories!

Cutler turns 2

Can you believe my baby boy is 2 already! I seriously hate that he is already 2 and acts like he is 10!   He is still a little mama's boy  but is Mr. Independent!  He talks way beyond his years which really makes him seem so old!  We are going to be potty training him here soon then I will really not have a baby anymore!  He is a good napper and normally goes to bed without a fight! He still prefers to go to bed early. Not a night owl like his big sis!  He loves playing with cars and balls. We were at the park and he grabbed a stick and a pine cone and walked around throwing the pine cone in the air and hitting it with the stick! He is an athlete for sure and has very good hand eye coordination. He dribbles a soccer ball, shoots baskets, and hits balls all day!  And he has a good imagination. While at my mom's house he was using his shoe as a car because he couldn't find a car to play with. My mom then decided she needed to buy more cars!   He is the best helper and when he poops takes his diaper, puts it in a bag and then takes it outside and throws it in the big trash can. If you try and help him he gets a little angry. He loves to lock doors, start my washer/dryer, and is always starting the dishwasher! He is as such a fun age minus the temper tantrums but over all he is so fun to be around and is always keeping us entertained!
We went to the doc and she was very impressed with his strength and talking ability!
He weighed 25 lbs and is 35 inches tall. He is my little man for sure!

For his actual birthday we were in Arkansas and then the next day we drove home. And shortly after we got home my MIL and FIL and Brooklyn came down from Colorado to help us celebrate!  He got a bike, scooter, cars, trucks, balls and other good boy toys!
One day we went to the zoo and rode the train to the aquarium!

Then on Saturday we had a little BBQ to celebrate!

He had a good Birthday and we are grateful for this sweet little boy!
