These kids of mine!

As I near the end of this pregnancy it is weird to think that soon I will have 3 kids! It is going to be an adventure! These 2 kids of mine are always keeping me entertained! They are always worried about me and helping me out! It is so fun to see this side of them! They are loving this new house and all the space! They would live outside if we would let them! Cutler loves all the dirt and Ronnee loves her room! She has been so good about sleeping in it! It helps that she is trying to earn a horse! Cutler was my good boy and slept in his own room in the other house but will no longer do that in the new house! He says there are monsters in there. He will not go anywhere in the house if all the lights are not on! Funny kid!  We have the plans made to get the fence put in so we can get the dogs back from Colorado!

I will post pics at some point!

Moving while Prego

Thank heavens for family and friends!   Moving will huge pregnant sucks!  My mom took the kids for a few days while I cleaned the crap out of that house and packed up our stuff. The nice part about having a month to wait for closing I was able to start packing earlier! I just packed a couple boxes everyday which really helped!  And then when it came to moving it was nice to have family and friends that were willing to help!  Seth Nelson and his friend came over and loaded everything so fast! And we got the garage code to the new house and they went and unloaded it even though we were technically supposed to wait until the next morning but we had the help then so we did it then!   Then the next day the in laws came and we finished it up! Mickey and my mother in law had so much unloaded and unpacked! What a blessing they are! The kids were so excited!  While we were unpacking they were grating our dirt road and Cutler was in heaven!  We are loving the space of the new house and look forward to making it a home!

Trip to Texas to get Josh married off!

Josh asked the beautiful Ashley Cunanan to marry him and set the date of April 2, 2015!  They got married in the San Antonio Temple and had a reception in Victoria, TX!  So back to San Antonio we go!
Since I am huge pregnant we made a little bit longer of a trip of it so that we could take our time getting there and getting back! We went early and spent a few days with Ike and his family in Carrizo Springs, TX! Lucky for us Ike was able to get us a deal on tires and put new tires on our car while we were there!  The perks of brothers in the tire business!  We had a really fun time visiting Ike and his fam. The kids love their cousins for sure!  Ivy Jane road with us which was fun because her and Ronnee get a long so good and she kept her busy!  Ivy, Ronnee, and Charlie had a lot of fun together! One day we went to Ike's work and picked up trash and we found 3 dollars! So we walked to the dollar store and they got to pick something. Poor Ivy picked some Mexican candy and wouldn't believe me that it she wasn't going to like it so when she opened she discovered it was not what she thought and then gave us all the death look and didn't talk to us for a half hour! Hahaha Funny girl! William and Cutler were so just completely happy playing in the backyard with someone!   It was really fun seeing where Ike and Steph live. It is a different world down there. They are nearly in Mexico and on a major trucking area, so everything is dusty from the semi's! Cutler thought it was great because the semis would drive right past there backyard about 50 times a day! He was in boy heaven! He just stood there waving at the truckers and occasionally he got a honk! After a few days there we headed to San Antonio to meet up with the rest of the family!
Family is the best! We are always there to support each other! We all were able to make it to Texas for the wedding minus a couple brother in laws!  It was a beautiful day for a wedding and they looked amazing and so happy!   After the Temple wedding we got to spend some time at the river walk with some of the family while the others headed to Victoria to help with the preparations there. We figured all the kids would be in the way so we had some fun with them in San Antonio!  Thank heavens for Tyler! He takes charge and we had  really good time! I am sure the other guest at the hotel were entertained by all of the kids!   The next morning we woke up and headed to Victoria for the Ceremony and reception! I AM TIRED AND SWOLLEN AND UNCOMFORTABLE AND HUGE PREGNANT! Before we had to get to the ceremony my mom had a little Easter fun with the kids! We had a pinata and hid some eggs! My mom always likes to do something really fun when she gets all her Grand kids together!   It is fun watching them all play and make memories!
The ceremony was in a beautiful Rose garden! It was a little hot and humid but so beautiful! After the ceremony we went to the reception and ate really good and had a fun time dancing!
The next morning a few of us cars headed home! It was nice Cara-vanning on the way back so we could rotate kids around and make it more fun! That is a long drive for kids and my pregnant body!
We all made it home safely and we are so grateful for that!  What a blessing families are and what a fun time we all had!

This 3rd Pregnancy!

This pregnancy is rough!  Heart burn so bad I cant sleep and need to puke! I feel like the baby is going to fall out of my vagina any time I pee or squat. I can literally push it back up in there. I have no floor muscles. Man I wish I were walking and being active but who wants to push 2 kids in a stroller!  Really I am just full of excuses and I will one day regret this!
The kids are getting so excited. Cutler likes to put the stethoscope on and check the baby! He is going to be a fun big brother!  Ronnee is so sweet and is always checking on me when I am sick and in bed! Poor kids get a little neglected at times because I am a bum but we will survive!

Finding a new HOME!

We are on the hunt for a new home! We are done with the renting seen and want to buy! We are looking in Rio Rancho so that we can have some space for the dogs and the kids and hopefully one day have a garden! We looked at a few houses and then we looked at one that was nice and open and was on a half acre so we put in an offer and then we wait! We are so excited to finally have a house to call our own and make it a home!

Cutler is 3!

Weight : 33 lbs
Height : 39 in

Sweet little Cutler turned 3 and became a little bit hard for his mother to handle! Haha He is as cute as ever with his raspy voice and his curly hair but man on man is a fighter! He will fight over the sky being blue!   And then he can be as sweet as ever five seconds later! 3 is fun!  He is way to smart for his own good and has an amazing vocabulary! I forget he is only 3 sometimes! He is a momma's boy all the way which is fun most of the time! We will see how that changes when I have the new baby!  He is so independent and thinks he is bigger then he is! He loves trains and trucks and playing all sports! He is making his daddy proud! He loves his sister more then anything and also loves driving her crazy! He loves to be godzilla to her all her animals when she is playing nicely with them! He loves his "motorcylce" aka his balance bike! He goes so fast and has amazing balance on it! We sure love this little man even when he comes up and hits us out of the blue!

Welcoming in Spring with some Fishing and the PBR!

We went up to the mountains do some fishing. Cutler loves fishing!   It was beautiful! Pictures to come!

We also went to PBR with Mick and Albert! The kids loved it especially the loud music and dancing!

30 Weeks down!

We have made it to 30 weeks with this pregnancy! I am huge and have constant heartburn! I love a good milk shake and that is probably why am so huge but they taste so yummy and feel good on the burning chest!  I have discovered if I eat to late I dont sleep because I feel the need to puke the whole night!
This baby in my belly is a mover but not quite like the others were! He likes to have mommy all to himself already! When I hold or cuddle Ronnee or Cutler it kicks them away. Haha The kids think it is hilarious!  This baby wont let Daddy lay by me either!  He doesn't find it as funny!

The kids are getting so excited! They talk to my belly and Cutler pretends that the baby is playing with him! It is pretty darn cute! He also likes to get the Stethoscope and check on the baby! He obviously cant hear anything but feels like he is a doctor! We call him Dr Cutler and he thinks it is pretty cool!

Man I wish I were better at going for walks! I feel like crap and come up with every excuse in the book not to go but I know I will regret this later!  My other pregnancy I didn't feel this bad and I am chalking it up the fact that I was better at being active during those ones!

St. Patricks Day!

Cute pics to come of us doing all things green!

Visit from the Nuerings!

Tyler's college buddy Zack and his beautiful wife Jenny and their sweet little girl Haley came to visit us! They love doing road trips and seeing new places and so since we live in a new place they decided to come!  They visited us in California when we lived there and actually got engaged that time! We love having visitors and enjoyed showing them around!  We went to the top of the Sandia Mountains and froze but it was a pretty view for sure!  And we visited Old Town Albuquerque and did a lot of visiting! It was so nice to have visitors and meet that sweet little girl of theirs! Next time it is our turn to visit them!

Mr. Cutler the Athlete!

Videos of Cutler playing baseball, basketball, soccer, and football! He insisted on playing them all in the same night! haha And he is surprisingly good at them all!

This little boy is all BOY and loves anything that involves a ball! He catches on really quick just from watching other people do things!

Uncle Sam was in a play!

The St. Johns High School preformed the play "Oklahoma." Samuel play Judd Fry the bad guy that gets killed in the end. Haha  It was a strange feeling watching him play this part and be so hated! I know it is just a play but still....
He is did so good and even sang a solo! He sang a really hard song but did amazing!  My dad during the play stated that the song he had to sing was a terrible song to have to sing because it was in a hard key. Well Ronnee interpreted that as he thought Sam did a bad job so she looks at him and said " That was a great song, Nice TRY GRANDPA!" Haha She was so proud of him! The kids loved seeing him on stage and actually payed attention because they could see him!
Not sure where Sam came from because you couldn't have paid us older kids to be in a play let alone sing a solo! Way to go SAM!

Trip to Colorado

We made another trip to Colorado, this time to drop the puppies off! Mimi and Snakes are the best and said they would watch them while we did some traveling for weddings and things!   The dogs love it there and Mimi loves feeding them! While we were there it was freezing but it SNOWED!  The kids had so much playing in the snow. They would have stayed out there all day if we let them! It reminded us that we need to get some good snow gear for next time!

Samuel Wrestling!

Regionals and State and hanging in SJ!  It has been so nice being able to go support Sam in his Senior year of sports!  He had a great year in Wrestling and we were able to make it to the Winslow Tournament and then a few weekends later we headed back to Sj to support him in Regionals! Tyler wasn't going to be able to make it to State because of meetings so he went to Regionals with us!   After Regionals we just stayed in Sj for the week and then headed to Prescott for the State finals!  The kids and I were able to stay with the Barney's! The kids love seeing Allyson and Kilee! They had so much fun! One of the days of State Ronnee just stayed with them at home instead of sitting through boring wrestling!  When she did go she just said how bored she was! lol  But when Sam would wrestle she would yell her little heart out! Haha the people in front of thought it was quite entertaining! She had no idea what to yell but just kept yelling "GO SAM!"  She loves her Uncle Sam! Cutler actually enjoyed watching! He loves anything and everything sports so he was a Happy Boy!  Samuel got 4th at State and we couldn't be more Proud!

Thanks again Jessica for letting us stay with you even though you had other people there and a brand new baby!

Oh and I had a Birthday and found a gray hair!

Josh has found a sweet girl named Ashley Cunanan and has asked her to marry him! SHE SAID YES! And they are getting married in April in San Antonio, Texas!  I will be huge pregnant but I wouldn't miss it! So happy for them and wish them all the best!

I also turned 31 and I found a gray hair like I stated earlier and I think I had heart burn. Thanks baby in my belly!

Half way done!

We finally told Ronnee and Cutler that we are having another baby!  We waited as long as possible!  At first when we told them Ronnee didn't believe us. She kept saying things like "no your not!" "but your not married!" "I  don't believe you!" Then she ran away and cried for an hour! hahaha  Then she told us that she didn't want a sister because she would ruin her makeup!  This kid is hilarious!  She is now so crazy protective! I cant even sneeze or cough without her running to my side asking me if the baby and I are okay! And if Cutler being wild near me she makes sure he doesn't touch me or the baby!  Anyone and everyone we she tells them that I am having a baby! She now refers to as pregnant mom and is constantly reminding Tyler that he is going to be a dad again!  She is beyond excited and is going to be so helpful!
Cutler doesn't really seem to care or say that he cares one way or another! He does come and kiss my belly and talks to the baby!  I think he will be a good big brother but will have some adjusting to do!

The next morning we took them to the 20 week ultra sound and they got a kid out of watching the baby move around and hearing the heart bit! I think that is when Ronnee realized we were serious!
The baby wouldn't even show the Tech what the gender was so it was easy for us to keep with the theme and not find out the gender! It was our last Ultra sound for this pregnancy so no way we or anyone was going to find out!

While we were at the doctors office and the nurse was hooking me up to check my heart rate and blood pressure and Cutler just looked at me so seriously and I asked him if he was okay and he looks at me and says"I just love you mom!"  The nurse and I both nearly cried. He can be so sweet! He is always worried about me!   Not sure how I got these kids with such big hearts!
Another day I was laying in bed sick, this pregnancy was rough, and Cutler came running in to check on me and came and layed by me and told me that I was his best friend! Be still my beating heart! Let's hope he stays that sweet! Those sweet moments are so nice to have when some days I wonder if we are going to make it! lol Boys are hard!

This pregnancy is a lot like the rest in the weight gain department! Man I get huge!  I look like I am due any day and I am only half way through this lovely pregnancy!   I started feeling the baby move around 16 weeks and I love it! I cant wait for the kids to be able to feel it!

Christmas/New Years in Colorado!

Christmas Letter 2014

Ortiz Family 2014

We have had a fun year as usual filled with some ups and down!
This year has been a great year because we sold our house in Reno and can now start thinkng about buying a house here in ABQ and making this a home!  It started out a little rough because our renters bailed on us and left us with a mess! Thank heavens for great friends who sacrificed their time  and energy to clean up my house and get it ready to sell! What a blessing Jen and Pam are!  After all their hard work the house got sold and we dont have to worry about that stress anymore! So now we can think about getting a house here in ABQ
Tyler has been working a lot and still loves his job! He is so good at what he does and enjoys doing what he is doing!  Not only does he do a great job at supporting us he also is an amazing dad! When he leaves for work in the morning the kids tell him to take a tiny piece and bring them home a prize! He loves those little voices! And when he has to do overnights they cry for him to hurry!  Tyler is also the best husband! I can't remember the last time I did dishes! He has taken that chore as his own and I never have to worry about it! He also keep the yard looking nice and rarely do you find dog poop in the yard!  Those dogs are so loved by not only Tyler but the kids! I am grateful for the dogs myself because they keep the kids and Tyler entertained!
I am busy keeping the kids happy and the house in okay shape! I wish I could keep it really clean but with the 2 cute kids helping me mess it up it is impossible! Also good news... I AM PREGNANT and due at the end of May!  So that is another reason that my energy is low and my house is a mess!  But guess what we have 2 happy healthy kids and that is what is important!
Ronnee is 5 and is a sweetheart that acts like a horse most days!  She is a chatterbox and is way to smart for her own good! She knows how to work people and make them feel like a million bucks!  Grandma Evie came to visit  us one weekend and Ronnee ran up to her and gave her the best hug and then stepped back and said "who are you?"  haha Grandma Evie felt so loved even though she acted as if she didn't know her after that! She is a sweet big sister even when her brother is being a brother! She loves loves loves her dogs and would be outside with them all day if she could!  What a blesssing she is to our home!
Cutler is 2, need I say more. Jk  He is a sweet 2 year old which makes me nervous for 3. He is a mama's boy and it not really a people person so keeps to himself. He is really good at enteraining himself and keeping busy!  When he and Lavinia get together that is when the trouble happens! They love eachother and know that it is hard to get to mad at their sweet faces! He is an amazing talker and has the cutest raspy voice! People always think he is older then he is because he potty trained at 2 and talks like he is 4!   Not sure what we would do with house this little man of ours!

God has really blessed us and we are forever grateful!  We look forward to another amazing year!

Thanksgiving time in St. Johns!

This year it was everyone in Sj for Thanksgiving, which is always a fun time! This year it involved Jeff and his family from Utah!   We did some branding, Ivy's school program, and lots of playing outside. Thank heavens for mild weathered days!  There was also some leg wrestling, Grandma and her guitar and puzzles!

We also had our annual Turkey Trot and lots of food! We are so grateful for our awesome family!

More pics to come!
