GO SHARKS!

Football- check check
Basketball- check
Baseball- check check check check check check
Now I can mark Hockey off of my list of sports that I needed to attend before I die!
The San Jose played the Phoenix Coyotes. It was hard to decided who to cheer for. And my decision is that I will make the Sharks my hockey team of choice. I normally would go with the home state but I figure I should cheer for the team of my current home city. Since I refuse to cheer for any other California teams, so it is only fair. Plus it is much easier to cheer Sharks then Coyotes in most cheers. The game was a lot of fun. So loud and violent. It was a close game and the Sharks ended up winning 2-0. I was really confused about the rules. The guys in front of us kept saying that there should be a penalty when the shark guys would get hit but when they were doing the hitting they thought it was awesome. So I am not sure what constitutes a penalty. And it was really hard to watch the puck. It flew around so fast! We are going to be attending another game in March so my love for hockey is sure to grow!

HaPpY 1sT aNnIvErSaRy!

Today is Tyler and I's 1st Anniversary! It is so crazy that we have already been married a year! It went by so fast, probably because we have been so busy...
moved 2 times
2 new cars
car accident
lots of trips to: AZ, CO, Grand Canyon, Reno, Tahoe a few times, Monterey, San Francisco, Las Vegas
business trips for Tyler
visits from family and friends
fights
becoming closer
and I am sure so much more!
But over all it has been a pretty good year. I am glad Tyler has put up with me for this long. I know it can be hard sometimes. I tease him a lot that he is the girl in the relationship but it really is a compliment. He is a good husband and a major clean freak. lol! He loves the bed to be made at all times! Bless his heart. I hate making the bed. But he puts up with that and I put up with the fact that he doesn't close shower curtain! But even though we are both not perfect we are making it work! Love you Tyler!

P.S. Happy Happy Birthday Sally! I am glad that we get to share our Anniversary with you and your birthday!

Anniversary gift!

I know our Anniversary isn't until the 26th but I got my gift early. He gave it to me right before our trip to Vegas but it had to get sized and I picked it up today. My ring is now complete!! I LOVE IT!!! He is such a sweet husband! I love him all the time even if I don't always like him. LOL!
Before it was pretty then but now. . .

The pictures don't do it justice. It is amazing. I am weird but it didn't feel even so he got me another band! Now it is FABULOUS!

Surprise weekend!

So a couple of months back Tyler planned a surprise trip for me and he kept it a secret the whole time. I had absolutely no clue! Which I hate. I am not good with surprises. I hate not knowing what is going on and not knowing what I needed to pack. So Tyler told me to pack whatever and one nice outfit like a dress or skirt so that got me thinking. I have been trying to figure out what was going on forever. Every time I asked him he would change the story. It was so annoying!!!

So on Friday morning we woke up and hit the road at seven in the morning. It was hard to go to sleep because I was trying to figure out where we were going. We watched the sunrise and passed a lake not sure what it was called. Still lost at this point.

Then we continued on and passed some nut orchards. I had been on this rode before traveling to AZ so I knew we were headed southeast. He was not letting me look at the GPS, the brat.

Then we stopped in Bakersfield and had some lunch with one of Tyler's coworkers and he wife and daughter. They took us to this cute little place with amazing food then we hit the road again. I still haven't figured it out where we are going and Tyler still wont tell me!!

Then we hit the ugly desert and the beautiful windmills!

Then we went through some town that had the worlds biggest thermometer. I think it was in Barstow.

Then we turned on some road and I guess that we were going to. . .

We went to Vegas! I have never been and Tyler loves it! We made it there around four or five and then we went to the MGM where we stayed and checked in and tried to find our room. It was kind of tricky and I have to admit I was getting a little testy by this point. We finally found our room and then I laid down for a few minutes and then Tyler told me that we had dinner reservations at 8 so I needed to get ready. I was ready by seven and getting irritated because Tyler was stalling. Then he told me that I had a delivery coming at 7:30. I was threatening him that no one better sing or dance to me. lol! Then someone knocked on the door and I answered it and what do you know Jessica and Ben were there. I was so surprised! I would have never guessed that. Way to go Tyler and Jess for keeping that secret for so long. Jessica was even texting me and saying that she was in Prescott, the little brat. It was so fun to have them there. We then went to dinner and did some walking around and watched the water show at the Bellagio(sp).

Vegas is very pretty at night. Except for the people passing out the dirty pictures. It didn't matter that we were with Ben and Tyler they still tried to give them some. So weird!

That night they informed me that we were going to go see the Phantom of the Opera on Saturday night. I was so excited!! So on Saturday we woke up hit a buffet and went walking. We went to M&M world which was cool and we saw a lot of stuff!

Then we headed to a shopping area and wondered around and saw some cool things made out of plants and a hung china guy!

Then we headed back to get ready for the Phantom!! We at the Cheesecake Factory first then headed for the theater. Let me just say how amazing it was! It gave me chills listening to them sing. I would recommend going to Vegas just to see the show. The theater is built just for the Phantom and it was amazing. We sat like four rows from the stage. It was so cool. I am so glad my husband took me there! He did and amazing job!

After the show we headed back to the hotel to hangout. Then on Sunday morning we headed to the Hoover Dam. It is so pretty there! I even got to go to AZ!!

Then we said our goodbyes and headed home and I slept!

It was such a good surprise weekend. Made a good end to our first year of marriage. So weird that it has been that long!
Thank you Tyler for the fun weekend! It was the perfect way to celebrate our 1st Anniversary! I love you so much! You rock! And thanks Ben and Jess for helping us celebrate!
