Happy 6 years to Tyler and I!

Tyler and I made it to 6 years!  We have been stressing with house stuff but we manage to get on a dinner date to celebrate! It was nice to have a yummy dinner with just Tyler! Thanks to Mickey for watching the kids!  What an exciting 6 years it has been with lots of moves, 2 kids, and tons of fun memories! Cant wait to see what the next 6 years brings us!

Trip to Colorado to get Dogs!

We left the Dogs in Colorado when we went for Thanksgiving and we needed to go get them and the kids wanted their Christmas from Mimi and Snakes!  We are so lucky that Mimi and Snakes don't mind having the dogs. It makes it easier sometimes when we travel a lot! Note to self: Think about how hard it is to travel with dogs and how hard it is do find a pet sitter before you plan on getting more dogs! But that is besides the point! Thank you to them for watching the fur brats!
The kids got super spoiled by them. Mimi discovered the awesome after Christmas Sales on toys! We nearly couldn't fit them in the car to take them home with us!
And for some reason I didn't take my camera so I will have to look through my cell phone pictures!

We also got a visit from Spiderman! Brooklyn is the best cousin and made the costume by herself!

And we got to watch Brooklyn play some basketball!

Happy New Year!

New Years Eve we celebrated at our house and did lots of eating and played some games on the Kinect!  I think we all made it to midnight except for maybe Cutler!  Bring on 2014!

The next day we got a visit from some of our favorites, the Barney's!  We love when friends come! They were driving back to AZ from visiting family in Colorado. So glad we are a good stopping point! The kids had a good time playing and snuggling to watch movies!! We miss having lots of friends! Sadly I didn't get very many pictures but we had such a good time. Now it is are turn to go visit them!

Christmas 2013 Letter!

Still have yet to send out Christmas Cards and I not sure if it will happen this year but I finally did write a letter for the year! I haven't missed a year since we got married so I didn't want to start now!

Christmas 2013

We started out this year with a big move! We moved from Reno, NV to Albuquerque, NM and man is nice to be so close to our families! We rented our house out in Reno and packed up and left on our 5th Wedding Anniversary. 4 different apartments and 1 home in 5 years! Our life is an adventure and you never know what is going to happen next!

Tyler transferred territories and is loving the challenge of his new area! He is learning a lot about dealing with a challenging manager and has figured out how to make her happy and his customers! He recently helped Caleb get a job with Cardinal and is loving helping him learn all the tricks to working with this company! He is an awesome mentor! He is on the phone a lot helping not only Caleb but a few of his other teammates with problems and helping them solve them! He is so good at it and I could see him being an awesome trainer for his company! Besides work he has been doing a lot of fishing and of course being a fun dad to Cutler and Ronnee!

Me well I am busy with the kids and keeping the house in tact! These kids don’t sit still and make plenty of messes and need plenty of energy to keep me on my toes! I have definitely enjoyed being closer to family and visit St. Johns often! Have to do it while I can because before I know it my kids will be in school and we will have to stay home!

Ronnee is 4 and thinks she is a horse most of the time! We get lots of look when horse mode kicks in in public places. It is a little crazy because she stops talking and only neighs and whinnies and walks on all 4s! This kid is something else! She has the best imagination and is always up to something! She is a sweet big sister and loves when Cutler wants to play with her! She has enjoyed being able to spend so much time with family especially her best friend Ivy!

Cutler is 1 and is all boy! He loves basketball, cars, trains, and throwing everything! He talks way to good and uses sentences and picks up on everything so quick! It amazes me all the time! I forget he is still only one! You just have to show him how to do something once and he catches on. His new thing is dribbling the ball before he shoots, thanks to Uncle Josh! We have quite the little athlete on our hands and daddy is loving it! It is funny how 2 kids from the same parents can be so different! He listens and follows direction and Ronnee HAS to do it her own way and on her own time!

We have had a fun busy year and it has ended on quite a stressful note so let hope this New Year starts out on a better one!

We wish you all a blessed and happy year!

Love,

The Ortiz Family!

Hope to get some letters sent out to those awesome people who sent me one at least! Only time will tell!

Christmas!

Christmas is such a fun time of year, especially when we get to spend it with family!  On Christmas eve we put on a little play acting out the Christmas story. It was pretty cute and the men were good sports and played along too!

Then of course we did some singing!
The twins found there jackets that the wore when they were little boys! Haha

Then the kids went to bed and Santa came! The kids are at a fun age and were so excited. They were completely content having a small Christmas this year. We got them each a couple things and that was just perfect. They have plenty and life threw us a curveball right in the middle of the holiday season with the house stuff!

Part of Christmas vacation involved some other family challenging us to a Basketball/ Volleyball game! They heard we would be fun to play but I think that they just wanted to build their confidence! We are athletic but are by no means that good! Aneron did manage to beat all those tall men in Bump out!  But it was really fun and it was nice to burn some of that Christmas eating!

We had a really fun Christmas and we were all really worn out and ready to be home again!
Here are a few cell phone pics from Christmas break!
Light Parade!
