New Year’s Goals

I had the idea to at the beginning of each month to write about how I am doing on my goals.

One goal was try new recipes and cook more… I have tried a few new recipes and I have been cooking more. It helps that I make menu for the week or at least write down a few ideas for a meals before we go grocery shopping so I have all the stuff. It is a good feeling when I know I have meals prepared for my family. We still had a few lazy days where it was nice that I made to much so we could have leftovers! Lets hope I can keep this up, I can tell I am losing my energy!

Another was to workout consistently. Well I was doing really good with this but I haven’t walked in a couple days and I can totally tell the difference. And maybe that is why my energy is lacking. I have been painting my bedroom and bathroom with help of course and keeping my house clean so I am counting that as staying active! It is at least keeping me busy! Today I plan on starting the walking everyday again because my body can really feel the difference when I dont!

Another was be a more understanding mother and wife… I feel like I have been doing pretty good with this. My patience level has been way better and I think that I am keeping my angry moods in check! This one is so hard sometimes when your daughter tells you she wants to pee in her pants and does it! lol Seriously this little girl I think loves to get under my skin sometimes! But she is a sweet heart and I will keep her!

And last but not least I made the goal to be more in the know with our money! And thanks to Jessica for helping me figure out the spreadsheet I am doing good with this one! I have been really good about feeling everything out. It is so nice to know where all our money is going! I learned last month that we need to be careful on our eating out and try and be more frugal with our grocery shopping! Right after the new year we ate out 3 times and that really killed us but after that we did really good and hopefully this month we will do even better! So far we went our for my birthday but we had a free pizza so we are doing good! I think that I am probably annoying Tyler with all my questions and checking our accounts so often but I hope eventually he will appreciate the help!

Well I thought I made more goals but apparently not and that is probably a good thing.

My list of things that I wanted to do before the baby is almost done so now I need to think of some more ideas! I want to deep clean the house or really I dont want to but I know that my kitchen floor needs a good hand mopping job and my carpets need to be shampooed! So please please let my energy stay here at least for a few more weeks so I can have a nice clean house and nothing to do so I can sit on my butt and watch tv!

Lol..you are doing awesome if you are still exercising past thirty weeks! lol...I get to that stage and I am like hey, can you get me that water, which is right by my feet...lol...the more you have the more tired you are! lol..You are so cute and I can't wait to see what you are having!
