Trip to San Antonio!

We woke up at 4 in the morning after the wedding and hit the road to San Antonio Texas to have a vacation with the Ortiz family! The drive to get there was an adventure! The transmission was going out in the Escape so instead of it taking 14+ hours it took 19+ hours! We were trying to make it as close to San Antonio as possible so if we broke down for good they would tow us over there instead of another city!  When we finally made it we were all tired and cranky and had to pee bad because we couldn't stop for fear of the car not starting back up. Poor Cutler peed his pants and was so upset! So as soon as we got there we went to the Hotel had baths let the kids run for a little bit and went to bed!On Monday we went to the San Antonio River walk which was BEAUTIFUL!  If you have never been it is a must!  But dont go in the middle of July! It was hot and way to humid and the air was so thick!  We rode a fun little boat in the river to see all the sites! The kids loved that! Then we found a cool building and had some ice cream to cool off!

After we cooled off we took a stroll through the Alamo! And then did some swimming!

The next we  when to Sea World!!! The highlight of the trip for most!  Ike and Steph live a couple hours away so she met us there with the boys which was so fun since they couldn't make to Az for the wedding.  The kids had a blast watching all the shows and seeing all the animals and playing in the water!  It was a fun day with lots of great memories!

Sea world is so fun and we definitely want to go back! Next time we will take 2 days there instead of cramming it all in one day! We all got back to the hotel and passed out! The next morning we all got up had some mishaps and went our separate ways. So sad we couldn't leave the fun vacation on a happy note! But that happens with family!    The drive home was uneventful on the car front! We drove the rental car home because they were unable to get our car fixed!

We had to go right back to AZ to get our dogs so I stayed a couple days for the 24th celebration! Always a fun time with the Rodeos and dances and just seeing old friends!

Sam Rode a bull! Yikes! We were all a little nervous but he survived!
