PoSt NuMbEr 100! Chili's

I can't believe that I have posted 100 times, wait yes I can my husband reminds me that I am a blogaholic! I love blogging and I love reading how others are doing! So Tyler can kiss my butt because I am going to continue blogging!

I love Colorado Chili! There is nothing quite like it and I need to thank Ronnie for sending Tyler and I some. I got it and I spent the rest of the evening roasting it and freezing. Our apartment smelled heavenly and my salsa is now that much better because of it! THANK YOU RONNIE!

Nuggets game!

Thanks Carly for inviting us to the Nuggets game! We didn't get to sit by her and Jesse and there boys but it was still a really fun game. Brian and Lauren came with us which is always nice. It was nice to go to a game up there and have our car be safe. It was a way better experience! Tyler was one of the only Nugget's fan in the place! Now we need to go to a Sharks game and my life will be complete!

I love Roses. . .

My Grandma Isaacson had the best Roses in the world! I don't think I ever really thought about it until the other day while I was at work and they had some fresh cut roses on their counter and the smelled so good! They are so pretty and when I see them I think of my wonderful Grandma. She was such a good gardener. As a kid I always felt like it was such a chore to go down and help her with her garden and I now I realize how special it was. I can't wait to be able to have my own garden and plant my own roses. I should have paid better attention and learned more about gardening from her.

Soccer!

So after we left the kids with Cameron at the Halloween party we headed to watch Hannah play in the state soccer tournament in Tempe. We sisters of Hannah Mary Isaacson decided to dress up a little bit. We made shirts with her number on it and then Mickey's said HANNAH, Rachel's said MARY, and mine said ISAACSON!Oh yeah and I even put red in my hair. We are her biggest fans! It was a lot of fun! The girls team was awesome. They have so many talented players on their team. They won the game on Friday night and then the lost 1-0 on Saturday against Blue Ridge. They played so good but still didn't win. Better luck next year! I am so glad I was able to go and watch her play at least once this year.

Not only did I get to watch Hannah play but I got to watch Grant, Aneron, and Raymond play. Grant and Aneron are on the same team. They won their game and they both played awesome. Granty-pooh scored 3 goals and Aneron plays defense, which we aunties reminder her that it is a very important position. Their dad gets the slurpies if they score goals. He forgets that she never plays offense so therefore she will never get the opportunity to score. I think she deserves a few slurpies! And Raymond scored 2 goals in his game. He is going to be a superstar soccer player! While they were playing soccer CJ, Sam, and I played on the playground and cheered! It was a soccer filled day followed by some shopping with Hannah and the Mother!

It was such a fun weekend and I am so blessed to be able to be able to go and see my family and friends so often!

Halloween!

On Halloween morning I woke up at 4:30 am and got ready and got on a plane and flew to AZ!! It was fast flight and Rachel and the kids picked me up at the Airport and we went and met the rest of the family TC Eggington(sp) for breakfast. The kids looked so cute! Rachel made Cj a cute hat that looked like a candy corn and Ivy a cute witch hat. She is so talented! After breakfast my mom and I took Rachel's four oldest and Sam and headed to the zoo. It was quite the adventure. I had to act like Rachel so that I could use there season passes to get in and so the kids were calling my mom. They thought it was hilarious. Cj was the only one that thought it was a little strange. He didn't quite get it. But once we got in the zoo I became Naomi again. When we got there it was turtle feeding time so the kids got to feed them. They probably would have been just satisfied with that but we continued on through the zoo. We got to see a lot of fun animals and then my mom and Sam got this great idea to rent a bike! It was so much fun until we got to the hills and then we would have to make Sam and Grant get out and push us up the hill. I must say it was a great memory for the kids and my mom and I.

HALLOWEEN EVE!
The kids were dressed so cute! Grant and Aneron were dressed as Mickey and Minnie mouse and as always looked adorable. Raymond was dressed as an Ant on a picnic table, sounds intense but it was the cutest thing ever. Fit his personality completely. Rachel did awesome on his costume! And Cj was and is a CLOWN. He acts like a clown everyday but for the day he looked like it also. And cute little Ivy was the cutest Witch ever! And Samuel went with them also and he dressed up like a hunter! He is getting so tall!
We went trick or treating for a little while and then Rachel and I left the kids with Cameron at the Halloween party and headed to Hannah Mary's soccer game!

49ers game and getting robbed after!

Tyler's friends from work, Lauren and Brian have been trying to get us to come visit them up in San Fran for a while. They tell us how nice it is and how much they always have, so we finally took them up on an offer to go the 49ers game against the Seahawks. The game started at 1:30pm so we left here at 9am so that we could get there extra early to tailgate. We met up with some of there friends at the parking lot and started bbq and eat! I ate so much. I baked cookies and made salsa. I haven't had a reason to do anything like that for a while so I took advantage of the fact that there would be other people to eat it besides me!

Then we headed to the game! I even got a nice pat down from an old lady before entering the field. It was such a fun game even though the 49ers got there butts kicked and the true fans were getting really angry it was still fun to watch. We literally sat on the highest row. It got to be pretty hot and then all of the drunk fat men were taking off there shirts. So stinking gross!!! Surprisingly enough there was a lot Seahawk fans there. Three of the people that we went with, Jeff, Andrew, and Lauren #2 were there to watch the Seahawks, so they of course loved the game. Finally at like the end of the 3rd quarter I convinced them that we should go so that I could take some more pictures of outside of the stadium. It was so pretty! It sits like right on the bay.

So after the game we did a little more tailgating waiting for all the traffic to die down and then we decided to head back to the car. While we were walking to the car they were joking about how funny it would be if we got back there and all of our tires were slashed. Funny then but once we got to the car and realized that someone felt the need to break the driver side window and still our GPS and the Sirius Radio
it became not so funny. I was so pissed! Why do things always have to happen to us. Tyler has the worst luck!! So now he and his manager are trying to figure out everything with the insurance meanwhile we are out like $800 worth of stuff. But on a happier note, I listened to that little voice in my head that told me to put my purse in the trunk which I never do and so luckily that is safe and sound! I am hoping that our lives will stay pretty boring for a while. I have had enough with the bad luck!

Thank heavens that everyone is okay and they just got away with material things.

Wisdom teeth are finally gone!

Tyler got his wisdom teeth and sadly he didn't swell up like a chipmunk so I have no pictures. He is still a little sore and not eating what he really wants (chips and salsa) but give him time and I am sure he will be back to normal. He was a good patient because I really didn't have to do to much for him. He is pretty independent. He did try to get me to look in there and see if it was bleeding but I couldn't. It made me gag. I can't imagine how I will be when I have kids. I hope I get a stronger stomach!

Turtle!

We found this cute little turtle! Tyler loves him and it keeps him entertained. He stayed up really late the other night making it a nice home and trying to get it to follow directions. I don't think he realizes that the turtle has a mind of its own and wont listen to anyone. He keep trying to escape through the clear walls of his aquarium. That has to be torture. I hope he doesn't start to smell before we have to take him to Az! Good thing Tyler is here to take care of him. His favorite food right now is baby shrimp and creel.

Suds on the green!

I guess it was a few weekends ago now but we went to the "Suds on the Green" with some friends and it was a lot of fun. I did get bored towards the end hence the picture of the 7-up can but overall it was a good time. There were pro golfers there I was told but I wouldn't know them from Adam. It almost inspired me to take up golfing. My grandparents would be proud!

I am bored!

So I finished the Twilight series for the second time and now I am bored and I need something to read. If anyone good love story books that they recommend let me know. I need something to help pass the time. It has gotten so bad that I am currently watching the High School Musical 2 and I watched the first one yesterday and I am contemplating going to the third one that comes out tomorrow. I will probably be the only adult with no little girls at the theater. Please Help Me!

It is finally starting to feel like fall here, besides the 86 degree weather that is. But the leaves are changing colors and the mornings are nice and cool and the evenings smell like fall. I will post some pictures as soon as I take some! I realize I have been slacking on pictures, I will work on that. I have some, I have just been reading instead. lol!
Last weekend we went to a golf event with some friends. Turns out it was an Octoberfest with a golf tournament. It was fun and a nice warm day. I found myself just laying around on the grass enjoying the fresh air. Pictures to come!
Other then that it has been pretty boring. Tyler gets his wisdom teeth out tomorrow and I will for sure take some pictures of his chipmunk cheeks afterwards. He thinks he will pretty sick so we will be laying low on Saturday but on Sunday we are going to a 49ers game! They are playing the Seahawks. It should be a good time and it is supposed to be perfect weather.
Well I cant wait to go home in a week from tomorrow. I am so excited to see everyone!

WeDnEsDaY wEiGh In!

Another week and I lost .8 of a pound!!!!! It was a good week but I know I can work on somethings. I have been slacking on my walking because I have been reading. But I am almost done with my book so i can get back to my two walks a day and all the rest. I am feeling better! My stomach feels smaller probably not to anyone else but to me and I guess that is all that matters!! Wish me luck with the next week! Thanks for all the support and advice!

WeDnEsDaY wEiGh In!

It is that day again and I weighed 1 lb less then two weeks ago! I wish it were more of a change!!!!! But as someone pointed out to me muscle weighs more then fat. I would like to think that my fat is just turning into muscle but I am not sure if I believe it. But no worries I am feeling better about my body which is my whole goal for doing this. I have hung the say "Remember the power of positive thinking," all over the apartment. Tyler thinks it is funny but I need that reminder.
Also I am officially a successful vitamin taker!!!! I even finished a whole bottle. My mom has been telling me forever that I need to take my vitamins and I could just never get in the habit. But she can be happier now knowing that I am! They make me feel better so I guess they are working.
Tyler is gone again until tomorrow, then he should be home for a while. The other day we went for a walk and guess what we found????? I know you are all hoping that we found a winning lottery ticket but nope that isn't it. We found a TURTLE!!!! It is a red eared slider. I think someone either got sick of it and let it out or it escaped. So for now it is at the family's house that I nanny for and then when we drive home for Thanksgiving I am going to take it home for my dad! It is really just with them until they get sick of it. Thank you Sandy for letting it stay there.
Well I think that is all for now. I am just hanging out watching music videos. I know I am lame. I need a kid to keep me busy. Don't be jealous all of you mothers that no longer have free time. I think it is way cooler that you guys have kids and I am super jealous of that. I know my time will come so I will take advantage of my easy life for now.

First and Last Spook house

So our new friends Saskia and Jono invited us to go with them and some other people to The Great America theme park for some spook houses and to ride the roller coasters. I have to admit it was a lot of fun except for the one and only spook house
that I went into and the scary people that would follow me through the park. There were these fog areas that you really couldn't avoid that had scary people that would follow you and come out from anywhere. I watched a few people come out in tears. I would just run as fast as a I could until I got out of there and there would always be someone following me that was so creepy. Then Tyler informed me if I were to just act natural while walking through them that they wouldn't bother me. Harder then it sounds. Then we went into the SLAUGHTERHOUSE! I should have known by the name of it that it wasn't a place for me but I went in instead and yes by the first corner I was crying. It was so scary and I will never go in one again! Mark my words! I sat the rest of them out and watched this creepy clown scare the poor people that didn't notice him from the food court. That was the SAFE ZONE!

And if any of you know you know I am not a big fan of doing crazy things but I decided I could be a good wife and go with Tyler. IT WAS SO FUN!! I was in one of those crazy moods. Tyler said he was impressed! LOL! As Aneron would say I was showing off for him. Here is a few more pictures from the night from Tyler's cell phone because once again he told me I shouldn't bring my camera.

WeDnEsDaY wEiGh In!

I know it is Wednesday and I am supposed to weigh myself but I am going to take a bye this week. I am just not feeling like it. I have had quite the weekend. I was sick and reminded that I am a woman so I think that I will pass on the bruising my self esteem. Plus I haven't been walk-running as much as usual do to my stomach issues. So hopefully next week it will be a better week and I will feel like getting on the scary scale.
Tyler left on Sunday morning and wont be back until Friday night. He is in Ohio at some training thing. I do miss him. Don't get me wrong I love not making the bed not worrying about making dinner and being lazy but it gets pretty boring around here without him. Good thing I have my girl friends here to keep me busy with shopping in the evenings. I actually found a pair of jeans that I love. I haven't bought jeans in forever. Not sure what I am going to do for the next couple days, I am thinking about going and buying some more Halloween decorations, it is Tyler's favorite holiday!
I also got my invisilign retainer which is killing my teeth and will probably help with my diet since it is easier just to drink things and instead of prying it out and eating real food. I have to glue it with denture glue until it straightens my teeth and then it will stay in on it's own but until then I will have to wear it ALL the time. Which will hopefully just be for a couple weeks. Well I think that is all my news for the day. Hope all is well!

The marathon.

So my mom finished the marathon in 4hrs and 40 min and it rained the whole time. Poor thing. I would have stopped but not her, she is amazing. WAY TO GO MOM!

Where is my energy?

So I am pretty sure my mother took my energy with her to St. George. I am so lazy today and I even took my vitamins and got a good nights rest so the only thing I can come up with is that my mom needed to borrow it. She is on her way to St. George with Rachel and her girls to run a MARATHON! You heard me right my mom is fricken amazing! I can barely run a mile and she is going to run 26.2 miles in one day.
When I tell people that I come from a family of 10 children, people always ask me how my mom did it. I never know what to say but just the fact that she is the best mom ever. Then I tell them not only did she have all of us kids but she runs marathons. They are pretty much in awe by the end of our conversation. I hope that I can become as good of a mom as she is and that I will be able to have her energy and be able to put that energy into running a marathon. GOOD LUCK MOM!!! I am with you in spirit! And CHEER loud for me Aneron and Ivy!

WeDnEsDaY wEiGh In!

I LOST 1 LB in the last week. I was worried that I had a bad week. I did a little to much eating this weekend, but I am glad it was a loss. I need to think more positive!!!
