Caleb and Hannah's visit!

We were able to convince my mother to let Hannah come for a visit and Caleb coming with her was one of the selling points. And we were able to convince Caleb to come out by saying we would take him to a minor league baseball game! So that was the first thing we did. We picked them up from the airport on Friday afternoon, went to the apartment for a few minutes then headed to the game! Shamore a neighbor boy was able to come with us. He sure helped make it entertaining. He and Caleb were able to flirt their way into getting the girl to throw a t-shirt to them and our section was able to win a in n out burger for being the loudest thanks to Shamore's ability to scream! The game was a lot of fun. The San Jose Giants played the single A team for the Angels. And I went to the game with 2 rockies fans and 2 diamondback fans! Also the girls bathroom at the stadium had cool paintings from the movie "A league of Their Own."

Then on Saturday morning Hannah and I did some painting and I think the boys watched some sports. (shocker) Then we had a little swim party and a BBQ. Lauren joined us swimming and Carly, Jessi, Melon, Vanessa, and Shamore joined us later for some hamburgers and yummy food! No pictures of the eating but a couple from the pool.

Then on Sunday after church we took a drive up to San Fran because you can't come to San Jose without out seeing that! We saw the Golden Gate Bridge, Lombardi St(the crookedest road), the ocean, and the craziness of the city. It was foggy but other then that it was a nice Sunday drive.

Later that day we came home and rested then we went to the park and played Frisbee. Okay they played and I watched. It was quite entertaining since Hannah wasn't the greatest at first and Tyler is clumsy. They did do a lot of running for their workout that day. Did I mention that Tyler took Hannah to the gym with him everyday. I am sure the people at the apartment thought that Tyler traded me in for a newer cuter skinnier model. lol! Here are a few Marla Hooch pictures! I was to lazy to get to close. We were so grateful for the beautiful weather. It was in the 80s all week and absolutely perfect! Definitely love that part of leaving in California!

We also did Hannah school shopping while she was here and started painting the babies room. We were able to get all of Hannah's clothes at 1 store, TJMaxx, and she did her shoe shopping in my closet. It was such a fun visit and we hope they come again soon. We did a lot of laughing and I definitely needed that! Plus it was nice having them with us on the drive to AZ. The drive home was so much longer because we didn't have any entertainment!

Grant's birthday/ Doctor

Happy Birthday Grant! He turned 11! I can't believe he is that old already. Hope he had a fun birthday! Can't wait to see you all in a few days!

Also went to the doctor today. My first time by myself, Tyler had to meet with some guy that could only meet right then of course. It was very boring without him. I didn't have anyone laughing at me getting on and off the table. lol But other then that the appointment went well, I getting fat and the baby is doing good! And I got the okay to drive to Az next week for my family reunion, but that will be my last and final trip before the BABY!!!!

Next thing on the agenda... Hannah and Caleb fly in on Friday so we will have a fun weekend with them and then on Tuesday we head to AZ!!!

Gilroy Garlic Festival!

About 20 miles south of where we live is the Garlic Capital of the world! Aren't we lucky! So we jumped in the car and headed to Gilroy! Tyler's family loves garlic and it is kind of rubbing off on me. It took us 2 1/2 hours to drive the 30 or so miles because of all the traffic headed there. So when we FINALLY got there we headed for the food! The Garlic fries were heavenly! There were so many different kinds of food made with garlic. I am sure they tasted good but me being the picky eater that I am I ate pizza and fries. lol! But Tyler tried some of the other stuff. He really wanted to go to try the garlic Ice Cream and it was HORRIBLE!! Good thing it was a free sample. If you are ever curious to what it taste like just put some garlic salt on your vanilla ice cream. It was so packed there, a very popular place. It was a fun time except for the hike to and from the parking lot and pushing my way through the crowds. It is definitely a place to check out! Good food, fun music, and lots to see!

New apartment!

We are officially moved in to our new apartment! Pictures to come, but for now I will just tell you how nice it is... It is so nice to have so much more space. We moved into a three bedroom apartment in the same apartment complex just the next building over. The move was pretty easy especially for me since I could carry anything heavy. It was nice to be able to bring a load of stuff and put it away right away and then go back for more stuff. Made it easy to organize as we went. Now we are all moved out of the other and all set up in the new one! We have a really nice view of the swimming pool. I will take pictures as soon as I think about it! I now get to start buying and decorating the babies room!
Here is a picture of the view, the living room/kitchen, and Tyler's decorating of the guest room.

Happy 4th of July!

What a fun Independence Day filled with moving and a baseball game! And once again I teared up during the National Anthem, but at least today it was on the 4th of July. We went to the San Jose Giants baseball game. They are the single A team for the SF Giants. They played the Modesto Nuts which are the Rockies single A team, so it was a win win for Tyler. And the Nuts won! It was a fun game and we all had a blast. The hot dog and the garlic fries hit the spot. Then following the game there were fireworks! Such a fun day and night!

I figured out that I have a fireworks setting on my camera and I thought the pictures were pretty cool!

Jessi's Birthday!

It was Jessi's birthday and they wanted to go to the beach and have a bbq. It was a good idea but when we got there it was so foggy! Who would have thought that when it was 100 degrees in San Jose that it would be 65 degrees 25 miles away at the ocean. So we changed plans came home and had a BBQ at the park by my house and then went swimming!

It was blazing hot outside so the swimming felt wonderful! I hope she had the a good birthday!

It was a fun weekend! Makes me love summer even more!

Quick story: On Wednesday Tyler and I watched the kids for the Sandy and Russel so they could go to dinner for her birthday. We were outside playing tag with one of the neighbor boy came over and was playing with us. It was so fun until the little boy starting antagonizing me telling me that I am slow because I am pregnant and that I will never catch him. So my competitive self ran and caught him it! Then I got stopped in my tracks. I am pretty sure I tore something. I could barely walk for 2 days, it hurt to even just sit and lay down. IT WAS HORRIBLE! The lesson I learned is that my playing tag days are over. PREGNANCY AND TAG DON'T MIX! lol! But good news I am doing much better now and I have learned my lesson to slow the hell down!!! Walking and swimming are my exercises of choice now!
