The Pueblo park!

Mimi came and picked up Ronnee and took her to Colorado and Tyler and I drove a few days later. She had a lot of fun with her Mimi and Snakes and especially Brooklyn! They played and played and played! She didn’t realize we were not there!

The drive to Colorado was so beautiful and green! And the Rivers were all raging and full! It was really fun to be just the 2 of us! We had a lot of fun talking and not having to worry about Ronnee.  We love being parents but the freedom for a couple days was just what we needed!

Tyler and I got there on Tuesday late afternoon and when she saw us drive up we could here her yelling Daddy from inside! She was very happy to see us and I am glad for that. She did so good without us I wasn’t sure if she would want to come back with us! lol

On Wednesday we took the girls to the Pueblo Park. They have a little rides for the kids for only 25 cents. It is such a fun little place. They have little rides just for the little tiny kids, so Ronnee got to go on her first thrill ride! lol  Loved it at first and then when they picked up speed she got a little scared and they had to stop and get her off! lol

She loved the carousel. She would flip out when you took her off of it. So she rode it a few times!

Cant wait to go back to Pueblo so we can go ride some rides! Probably the only rides that little short ones can ride!

Visit from the Barney’s!

We are so lucky to have friends and family that come and visit us. We would be so bored without them!  Jess and Ben and Allyson flew in on Wednesday night, so the fun began on Thursday morning!   Seemed like we were going and going the whole time they were here. Thursday we did some shopping and Thursday night we got invited to dinner at Jessica’s Aunt Lisa’s house. Such a small world that we could find family where ever we are living!

We lost Ronnee a few times at there house but we always found her with the puppies of course!

On the way home from dinner we stopped at Wal-mart and bought the Michael Jackson dance game for the kinect. When ever we were at the house we played the kinect. I am sure we burnt off all of our calories from all the yummy food we ate!

On Friday we took a trip Tahoe to play on the beach! The weather was perfect and the water was freezing!

We thought is was pretty cool that we were in our suits and there was SNOW!  And I love that my legs match the snow! haha

On Saturday Tyler’s mom flew in and then we took a trip to downtown Reno to see the car show and have some lunch!

 

We had so much fun with the Barney’s! Wish we lived closer to them!  They flew out early Sunday morning along with Terri and Ronnee and we were left with silence in the home and it was a little weird!

What we thought was going to be a slow summer!

So back in March or April we were thinking we were going to have a slow pretty boring summer and boy were we wrong!  We just got back from AZ and now we get to have a visit from the Barney family, then my MIL flies in and gets Ronnee on Saturday and then we drive to Colorado for a week, then the day after we get back Ashley comes to visit and the week after she leaves Hannah comes to visit for a week! We do have a few weeks in July where we will be home alone but at the end of July I hope to be back in AZ for my family reunion but we will for sure be going there the beginning of August for Mickey’s wedding! And right after the wedding reception in El Paso we are flying to Vegas for a week for Tyler’s work.And before I know it September will be here and my baby girl will be 2!  Such a sad day!   That will conclude our crazy summer!

But I wanted to blog about me and my diet/exercise! I did stop running for a couple weeks because I was sick but I went yesterday and I was so glad to find out that I could still run!  It felt really good to get back at it. I think i really missed it!   I also started the 17 day diet! It is making me eat more fruits and veggies and lean meats and I really needed that. I have lost 7.6lbs in 8 days! I am feeling a lot better but i can’t wait for this first cycle to get over with so I can add some more food to my diet!  I am glad I have found something that is working for me and making me a more healthy eater!  With all the walking we are doing and the healthier eating I hope to get down to my goal weight or better yet gain some body confidence!

Birthdays

Also while we were there we not only celebrated Hannah’s 18th birthday but we celebrated a late birthday for Jacob Riley and an early 60th birthday for my Dad!   Any reason to have yummy cake!

Kinect Tournament!

So one of the ways you entertain a ton of people is to get a Kincect! Every night was filled with hours and hours of boxing, track and field, dancing, and tons of other fun!  By the end of the weekend everyone was a few pound lighter and very sore!   On Saturday night we decided to have a tournament! They made a nice bracket and had a double elimination!  JOSH WON!!!!  It was so much fun! Even my dad played which was the most entertaining! 

And while they weren’t bothering us  Ivy and Ronnee were out with the doggies! These pics just crack me up!  These girls are as wild as there facial expressions.
